I baked cookies today. One batch of chocolate chip and one of oatmeal with butterscotch chips in them. Most of them turned out good but one tray got a little too brown. I forgot to set the timer LOL They didn't burn tho, just got a little brown. Do you like to bake? What have you baked lately?

I baked pan of brownies with walnuts late last night, then had to stay up very late to wait for them to cool so I could have a chunk with a nice glass of real cold milk. I've been good so far today and only had one piece with a bit of milk again, but it sure is looking good. I better stay out of the kitchen.

I bake cookies at least once a week. Last week it was chocolate chip and peanut butter with toffee chunks. This week it will be Oatmeal Raisin and maybe another kind.

Yummy LOl. I make cookies for my husband's lunches. He doesn't like the store bought cookies. I don't mind tho. I like to bake sometimes.

I used to do quite a lot of baking until my children grew up and moved into their own home. Now with just my husband and myself to cook for, I don't bother to bake cakes or cookies. I just buy what I want in the supermarket although I must admit they are never as nice as the homebaked ones.

I quit for awhile when my kids moved out but I got back at it. The store bought ones aren't quite the same.

Yes I wanted to do some baking last week so i had to first sort out the baking shelf and throw away out of date stuff. I made some lovely buns, plain with icing on top and some lovely current ones. I also made some home made pizza. I have a list of indgrenients to get from the supermarket tomorrow so i can do some more baking, hope to bake something every week now the winter is here! I used to bake a lot but got out of the habit

I know what you mean. My Mom used to bake every week when I was a kid. She made bread, rolls, pies, cookies. Lots of stuff. Our house always smelled so good. I usually just bake cookies for my husband's lunches. He's always saying I need to make more pies. I usually only make those at Thanksgiving or Christmas. He like me to make them more often LOL.

I bake quite often - usually chocolate chip cookies. Sometimes I make brownies or cinnamon coffee cake, depending on how I feel. It works well because I enjoy the activity of baking, and it's convenient for snacks for us to take to work.

I like to bake more when the weather starts cooling off, so I baked yesterday for the first time in months. I made cinnamon applesauce muffins for my daughter. I guess they turned out well because she asked for them all day long.

Hello lilcee To be honest I haven't baked anything lately, I just haven't had the time. I keep looking at the eggs in basket and thinking I must bake some little cakes for my boys for their packed lunch and I will do probably tomorrow, thanks for reminding me!

Fruit cake,I made one last week and it turned out ok,lol we always seem to eat the fruit cake until every little bit has gone,so its worth making.I have made biscuits and cookies in the past, but that was more when the kids were smaller,we dont seem to eat so many now,so thats how I seem to end up making a cake,a victoria sponge is a good safe bet too.
