I do all the work nobody wants to do in my company for my department. I do it everyday. Yet, when something goes wrong they all blame me, when they want something done, they all ask me. And I get no appreciation. How would you deal with this ? How would you handle it ?

That's just on the people on your company. I mean, every achievement deserves an appreciation. Personally, I wouldn't mind not getting the appreciation I deserved, but I do mind it when I get all the blame for all the mishaps in the company. That's just way too unfair. If I were in your place, I'll definitely talk to the management about this issue. It's not surprising, I'm a very vocal person. Also, i would consider the idea that these people might not realize what they are doing and they need to be told about it. I can definitely point it out to them. The bottom line is, if I don't get my worth in a company, if it will only ruin my everyday to face these people, if I'm not happy, what's the point of staying? Don't let them get to you Bluepatch. I'm sure you're a great employee. If you decided to leave that company for good, they'll surely lost a goldmine.

I think that sometimes in life not being appreciated can happen in the work place as well as anywhere else. I am a housewife and mother and sometimes I feel unappreciated. We just need to continue our work and try to keep ourselves satisfied in knowing that we are doing the best we can. I don't think it is fair that you seem to be the whipping boy in the workplace when something goes wrong. Then again they must have some confidence in you to always ask you to do something. Maybe they think you do a good job in certain areas.

Friend, I understand your situation. I am a mother and wife and that kinda goes with the job description. How I handle it I just keep doing what I am suppose to do because I know it pays off :) I am sure your hard work will as well!
