Even if you like Palin, do you feel bad for her? There is a newscaster in Maine who is getting hate mail because she looks too much like Palin.

I guess it would be bad if others think Palin is ugly, I don't think she is, I would love to have her eyes.. I remember when Clinton was in office my kids new school principal looked like Hillery, and I am sure she got a lot of comments about it, though I don't know if it was negative or positive, maybe both..

Oh and I forgot, my neighbor looked somewhat like Clinton himself and my neighbor is very nice, I would never judged him because of that..

I feel badly for anyone that looks like a celebrity, especially if they are in the recent news. It must be rough to have someone excited to see you because they think you are famous, but then watch their face as they find out you are not. I imagine it would make one feel less important.

That is just ludicrous. I didn't know there were so many mean-spirited and shallow-minded people in the USA until this election year. It appears the Obama supporters will stoop to any level to try and tear down the good things in our nation. I definitely think John McCain putting Sarah Palin on his ticket is a good thing. She is poised, she is tough, and the MSM and Obama supporters are absolutely at their wits end trying to make her look bad. She shines in spite of all their efforts and the hate mail thing just shows how deep-seated their hatred truly is. Anything that causes them to think of Sarah Palin is subject to their wrath. I don't feel sorry for Palin. I think she is up to the challenges, and the Obama supporters who are acting so immature might as well get used to her as she is going to be the vice president for the next four years, and probably the president for the four years following.

It is most unfortunate that anyone would get hate mail from any source for any reason. Sarah Palin is not immune to the mirror double of her human image. It is said that all humans have a double somewhere. It is not the smartest of individuals who think that no one should look alike. If it were me I wouldn't pay any attention at all to the hate mail and not even give it any recognition and eventually it would stop. No sense in reinforcing negative actions of others by making it known publicly. In my own words "Why acknowledge it and give it life." Sarah Palin is a beautiful woman and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if others admired her and tried out her hairstyle. I think that happened with Jackie Onasis when she married John F. Kennedy. It's not like Sarah Palin has a patent on her hair style. All the hype is just unfounded and will die soon along with the ignorance which created it. ( I refer to the ignorant energy and not the life of the person as life is sacred).

I just wanted to add that I support Obama and the others I have met whom also support Obama are very peaceful persons & organizations who advocate peace and logical solutions. Check out www.progessivefuture.org I volunteer with Greenpeace in the peaceful effort to get our Government to Stop Global Warming, to promote the need for clean and renewable energy sources Now and the majority also support Obama. To pass blame on a group of people is unjust and unconscionable. There is no room for negativity in this Presidential debate as we the American people need to make a logical and sensible choice and one void of prejudice to either democratic or republican parties. It's not a matter of age, race, or gender. It is a simple matter of looking forward to viable solutions to ease the suffering and making the lives we live better, healthier, and more sustainable not only for ourselves but in participation on a global scale. America is lagging behind and we need to step up to the plate. This is my personal view and no offense is implied or intended.

I think it's really disgusting how hateful people are towards Sarah Palin. Granted I think she can take it because she's a politician and that goes along with the territory. I think it's especially disgusting though that these people are so hateful that they must not only attack a politician they don't know, but then spread their attacks to some poor woman whose only crime is to look like Sarah Palin. It's really just pathetic that these people have nothing better to do with their lives than hate those that they don't even know.

To attack someone because they look like someone famous is just ridiculous. Even if you strongly disagree with her views that is no reason to send hate mail to her, let alone a look-alike.
