Today its Silk Live! a soy yogurt. This is the Key Lime one I've been looking forward to - lets hope its good. Calories 150 sugars 21g only 2g fat Its got a lot more ingrediants than regular yogurt - but they used rice starch instead of corn starch - warning to those with rice sensitivities. nice mild lime scent - not too much yogurt tangy scent first taste has good lime, but is followed by a kind of bland after taste - who ever heard of a bland after taste? The bit of sour from the lime is the only tang this has, there maybe yogurt cultures in it, but I can't taste them - good for yogurt dislikers I guess. its a good even custard type consistancy Well, after Sat chocolate underground, this is a bit of a disappointment. If its the only way for me to get key lime, I might get it again, but I'm not sure that soy yogurt is the way I'd go. Probably really good for those who are lactose intollerant or more allergic to milk than I am. I'm rather disappointed, but as I said, if its the only safe key lime, I might get it again.

I tried soy yogurt before, not that kind, but another. Has a beanlike after taste. If I'm going to do soy instead of dairy (only if I have to), I like tofutti substitute for ice cream and the wild berry mix is good. Cream coats your mouth and leaves a creamy taste, but soy, will always be soy. But tofutti is the most tolerable.

I didn't taste any bean taste - just not a fan of the kind of bland after taste. I'm not a major fan of some soy either, but this was better than some.

Well, bland aftertaste is kind of a dried soybean taste. I grew soybeans one year. Very pretty bean plant, abundant, when fresh, taste like fresh peas only more full-bodied. Thanks for best response and may all your soy adventures be good ones. Take care.

I tried making soy yogurt once but I ended up just drinking the soy milk and eating my yogurt starter. I did manage to make some the following day and it was very promising. Cheers!!

Oh, you make yogurt - that's cool! I'm afraid that if I tried making yogurt, my cats would probably get it!

I hope that it is good for you and it all works out so you can get it again. I love all kinds of yogurt. As I have said before, my favorite, is the strawberry/banana of course. good luck with more money and more reviews.

Pay day is just around the corner. I'll try to go down to Central Market or Whole Foods after payday.

The roomie got some Activia - and we found corn starch in it - so that one isn't on my list to eat.
