Does Anyone Still Write Checks??? / myLot

I am someone who can say that I still write checks at stores. I've noticed that alot of stores will no longer take checks, only credit or debit cards. I had a debit card at one time and it was alot harder for me to keep track of my account than writing checks. I don't know why but I find I can manage my money better by writing checks. So, which do you prefer, writing checks or using a debit card?

I write maybe one check a month anymore. I actually do not use my bank account much at all. Most of my money is on my PayPal card or my Securitecard that my kids child support goes on.

yeah i still write checks to some of my friends because i like to see them suffer and go to the bank to go cash my checks or have it deposited i like having them suffer because i dont want to go get them the cash

I do write a check when paying some bills. There are some bills I get that writing a check is the easiest way to deal with things. I also write a check when I do my shopping at Costco since they dont take credit cards unless it is American Express which I dont carry.
