Games for saving money

I get bored a lot and when I get bored, I have a tendency to google things online. Today my topic was saving money. After several pages of searching, I found a site that has several games that don't need anything bought to play. These games are all about saving money and can be easily played by family members of mostly any age. Some of them are about dinners, some involve change jars. I think these games are a great way to get the family involved in saving money and it's great for teaching younger children about math, budgeting, and money saving. These are all skills that will be really beneficial later on in life. If you would like to check out the site, you can do so here : http://www.savemoneygames.com/ Do any of these games interest you? Are there any here that you'd like to try with your family? Do you already do something like these games at home now?

This is a great site. It has fun games to play. It is full of great ideas to use to help teach kids about money too. I love the $1 game. I can imagine how much it would bother me to count out my house payments in one dollar bills and change. Thank you for this great link. I will get some good use out of this.

this sounds like a great site. I don't have children, and it's just my husband and I at home (when he's in the country, that is0 but I get bored too, and need something to keep myself entertained. it's always good to do something that involves saving money. Thanks again for the cool site. Have a nice day.

I don't have anyone to worry about but myself, so I don't know if any 'games' would work as I'm pretty good about squeezing every nickel and getting as much as I can for it. It is a neat site, though, and I think it's a great idea. I'm going to pass it on to some friends and I'm sure it will be appreciated.

With the economy in the US looking kind of dismal right now, I'm sure there will come in handy for many families, actually! Sounds pretty cool!

Really interesting. I will have to pass that site along to one of my friends who has a couple of kids, since I don't have any children.
