How long does it take for you to shop and decide on the right car for you?

I am currently shopping for a car. I'm driving my BF nuts because I take weeks and weeks to make a decision on a vehicle. When I bought my car after my Mom died, it took me three months to decide on the car I bought. I am actually driving myself nuts looking for a car (LOL) I've been looking for the past 6 months and can't seem to find the car that is just right for me. I am considering a Ford Focus Hatch Back right now, as I need a station wagon type car and don't want a SUV or a van. How long does it take for you to decide on the car that is right for you? How long did you need to shop for the car?

You might consider one of the newer Honda CRV's. They are listed as a station wagon and I had an older version when they first came out. They are really easy to drive. Not at all like and SUV or any bigger car. And, the newer ones are much smaller and even more like a station wagon. As for me, it doesn't take me long to settle on a new car at all. I had a VW new Beatle before my CRV and now I have a Honda Pilot which I love. Really, all I had to do was test drive them and I wanted them. LOL!I chose my beatle. My hubby suggested I test drive the CRV and my Pilot. Good luck! I hope you find what you like soon. I can say that Hondas are really great cars. They are low maintanance, nothing breaks on them. They're fantastic and well made.

Normally i look for a the latest car online and compare there prices before going to an outlet to look for it personally. It took me a while too to compare the brand of the car and the quality. I always wanted a car that will last long so i see to it that i get the best.

It has never took a long time for me to find a vehicle. I just go to the car lot I wish to get a vehicle from. I see what they have to offer. Than I choose from there. I have never had a brand new vehicle. All used and pre-owned. So, I go for less miles, no dents or dings, plus I take a guy with me to have a look to see I don't get screwed over. For some reason it seems as long as I have a man with me. The vehicle always turns out to be a good one.

Actually its pretty easy for me. Most of my adult life I have driven BMW's, so whenever I want a new car, I just get one. I am a Independent auto dealer so I know exactly what I am looking for and how much I want to pay. I don't have the worries of price comparison to worry about so that makes it alot easier too.
