you to your boss? I tell my husband that he talks too much, and to stop telling people all of his business. He works as a commission salesman for this company, he has been there for two months. He has only made two sales since he's been there, and was thinking about changing jobs. He has a three week training at another job during the day, and was going to see how that worked out before giving his notice, because his appointments are always in the evening, and he was going to do both. Well, he decided to tell a co worker his plans and the co worker went back and told the boss that he was going to quit. So now, there could have been a possibility that he may have made a sale during the three weeks, there is no chance now because the boss is no longer giving him appointments. Are you or your spouse the type who gives out more information about yourself than neccessary when you talk to people?

I sometimes used to let stuff slip out, but I don't normally do it on purpose. I know that sometimes it is nice to be friendly with your co-workers, but if you try to get friendly with the wrong one it could backfire. It sounds like he did it to try to get your husbands appointments.

That is exactly what I was thinking, my husband thinks that I do not give people the benefit of the debt.
