I was on my computer and I heard bing, bang, boom. So I went into the living room. My cat had had a fight with the dehumidifier basen. His automatic water dish is broken, so this has water dripping and he thought it was the same thing. Only he couldn't get to the water because it's deep. So he slapped it around until it came out from the dehumidifier, hit the stairwell, and slapped it over so he could get to the water. I gave him another drinking dish, but he wants flowing water. He also will ask to drink from a water spout in the bathroom. So another noisy mystery solved. Do you have a pet who can be noisey? Do you have a pet who can be creative when he or she wants something? Does you pet want something and figure out how to get it? Have you had a noisey pet mystery, too? Thanks and take care.

Oh yeah, whenever we hear something fall, everyone is like, where's the cat?? She climbs everything and many times on things that are not so stable.. and of course she gets a hold of my sons legos and next thing we hear is smack smack along a wall or table..And she gets these bursts of energy and races around the house, slipping and skidding around corners..She is so funny...

That reminds me of the humane society's cat that I call Zoom Zoom because it zips all over. My cat has gotten better at not trying to get on things that fall over. So when something falls, you're pretty sure you know why. Thanks and take care.

This story is actually funny and interesting. We do have a cat who is so curious and nosey. She wants to drink the dog's water and not cold water I put in her dish each day. Maybe it has something to do with the odor from a dog or his bowl. They get along extremely well since they've been raised together. She really doesn't get into things that much except when I open a closet door she jumps in there and then I can't find her. I do notice she messes around in her litterbox for long periods of time. Has to be exactly right before she will leave it. Everything covered and in place..lol It's noisey.

I didn't have a pet. My mom's cat was kind of stupid. She always wanted more food. Thus, the cat sometimes ate too much and tot sick. My mom was not a cat lover somehow. Since my sister and I loved cats she kept one. No matter how well we treated her, the cat would still scratched us. This was the reason that I said that she was really not smart

Did you train your cat not to scratch or at least try to train her? If you tap their toes-ever so lightly-they often retrack them. If you do it every time you pick the cat up or play with it, it can learn to retract them, maybe not all the time it will do that, but often. Most of my cats learned not to scratch. Once in awhile you get a hard head that won't learn. It's not to punish, so you must do lightly to not hurt the cat, but most can learn to retract them. Often people tell me animals are stupid, I take them and train them and then they realize the animals aren't. We have a pet trainer that says that's a misnomer (incorrect name), she actually trains people. People need to train their pets. Most pets are trainable. Some have had brain damage and are difficult or almost impossible, but most can be trained, some are even stubborn. Like I know my cat is smart. He figures out stuff all the time, but he is soooo stubborn if he wants to do something I don't want him to do. Take care.
