october is already 08 days old and it is still too hot......

Luckily the past 48 hours have been a bit cooler than before. So we can look forward to winter now.

Ya...i am in M.P. and here also its the same.We still start AC for some time and then switch it off after some time. Afternoons are also too hot. Probaly winters are not going to be so severe this year, or may be later.Every year we used to wear sweaters till Dusshera festival, this year they are still in cupboards...

Just what I was making a note of. For the past five days, I have been unable to sleep properly because it is so hot. And these damn mosquitoes to add to the torture. It is supposed to be winter, where is it? And we did not have sufficient rains this year either. Dunno what's up with the world!! Cheers and happy mylotting

Yeah I feel that too. I supposed to feel the winds getting colder because of winter season. But the nights is too hot and I still have to refresh myself by bathing myself at least twice. I don't get a very good night sleep because of the this kind of temperature over winter.

It's almost always the same scenario in India :-D Just wish I can do something and let the showers pour down :) It's really hot. We need a break :D

Hi juhi, We too were having warm weather but the last two days have been colder. I hope it doesn't mean that winter is coming early this year. I love the warm weather. Blessings.

Well, I am in midwest and enjoying a few (short??) days of fall weather!! I LOVE autumn and it never seems to last anymore. We go right from summer to winter it seems. We have had forever summers the last few years too, so I feel for you and hope that the hot weather stays away from here until next summer!

Well, we don't get winter here, only the rainy season. It seems to have started because today it poured like crazy. The clouds gathered and thunder was heard before the rain even came. And when it did, it was blasting at my windows. I had to close the windows completely. i seldom do that, even whne it rains, because i like to have a little ventilation. I would love to experience winter some time.

yes dear juhi06, in delhi it is still sweltering heat!! during mid noon it never used to be so hot usually, people are still using umbrella and looking for shades!! it is like peak summer here!!

Hi jui06, Here in the Uk is quite cool but not cold yet, during the day it is mild but at night it can be a little chilly, all in all it is not bad for October, but you country don't cold weather do they? not as cold as England. Tamara

Hi Juhi06, Tell me about it, I'm here in Florida and you can imagine how it feels here. Oh, is it Fall yet? Just asking because it feels like fried chicken here. I walked 20 minutes yesterday to the grocery store and back, and I was sweating out of my ears.We get lucky sometimes with a breeze here and there, but it's not as near as bad as July and August.

Oregon has been a little warm, but tht's not to unsual this time of year, the nights are getting close to freezing. But we are still very short on rain.

no, juhi, we are not having that problem! lol it is getting very cold here, especially at night. some days have been downright chilly, some have just been nice, cool fall weather, which i love! right now it is raining and damp. but the snow will be here soon. :(

I notice that it is nice during the daytime, but once evening hits, it gets very cold here. Yesterday was a great day for the kids to be outside with sweatshirts on, but last night we had to break out the fall fleece coats and it was still cold with them on. I am not ready for winter, so no complaints about warm weather here.

Lucky you are! It's very cold here and we already had wet snow today. But generally it's raining here all the time. I hate this time of year.

It is hot here also. When I came here this place used to be cool, with the roads sorrounded with trees. Now almost all of them are chopped for road expansion and its become very hot.

Yeah winter is still nowhere near and itsstill hot in the afternoon and it doesn't feel like october at all..Guess winter will set in around the Diwalis..Have a nice day!
