Spring Foward/Fall Back - Time Change

It's almost that time again, time for the time to change. They have changed Daylight Savings time. Instead of October it is now November 2. Time will fall back. I really don't like this changing of the time by the time you get used to it springing forward it is time for it to fall back. Plus I am now on the graveyard shift and when I would be getting off at 7 o'clock it will then be 6 o'clock. How do you feel about time change?

It gets darker earlier. It makes me long for summer time. What do you mean by the graveyard shift?

Graveyard shift means I work from 11:00pm to 7:00am 8hrs of night work. When everyone else is at home in bed sleeping I am working, I sleep days.

its getting darker and darker so getting that extra hour would be nice it would suck the first day to lose a hour of sleep but after that its all good.

i actually wish it was this weekend or last weekend! i could use the extra sleep and especially because this is a long holiday weekend (thanksgiving here in canada!!) but anyways, it makes the nights seem really long during the winter, thats why i dont like it that much.

I hate the falling back part. Because it gets dark at like 5 or 6pm and I feel like I should be in bed by 8! I wish they wouldn't mess with it, and let us keep the daylight in the evenings. But, they didn't ask my opinion. LOL

Hi Chevee, Oh, your back working again? and back to the gravyard shift, do you mind that? yeah all this changing time seems to come so quick. It don't bother me that much as I don't go out to waork, but its thde days that are too short these days and nights are too long, got to get used to it again I suppose. Love and Hugs. Tamara

It has to be my favourite night of the whole year.. I get an extra hour's sleep for free! Either that, or I have an extra hour the next day to do whatever I want to do. It works either way :) I don't like the fact that it goes darker earlier though, that makes me sad :(

I dont really like this time changing, as I seem to get a kind of jet lag! In the mornings it is better, as it is not so dark, but not in the afternoons, when the day is shortened as it were.

no daylight savings time adjustments here!! why? im in arizona! and we think its a stupid idea..and therefore refuse to give in to the rest of the country LOL! i dont see a point to doing it anymore. truly what do we do when it gets darker earlier? we turn on a light and keep going. i can understand way back when, but does it have any beneficial uses anymore?

I have noticed the difference in the days and figured it was getting close. It doesn't really bother me one way or the other. My only thing is trying to remember to reset the clocks. ~~IN SEARCH OF PEACE WITHIN~~ **AGAINST THE STORMS, I WILL STAND STRONG**

I never have liked changing the time nor have I ever seen a really good use for it. Working the graveyard shift, it does make a difference on your body and your internal clock. The whole thing is silly

I was thinking about that last week and wondering when it was to happen. I like the fall weather but I do not care for it getting dark so early. It makes me feel as if I cannot get enough things done during the day. It makes me feel blah! When I worked a shift like that they kept us the hour anyway. Made sure they got all of the work out of us that they were entitled to!
