Do you love or hate Saturdays?

For most people Saturday is a day off work, a day to relax or get things done around the house.
For me, Saturday is not much fun. Hubby works on Saturdays, he has to be in extra early, but gets home around 6pm, which is early for him. The kids are home from school all day and become bored the moment they wake up. Of course boredom leads to misbehavior, so I spend the day disciplining, redirecting, etc etc.
It is also a busy day because 2 of my boys have soccer games, and starting next week my daughter will have baton lessons. So I have to drag all 5 kids out to these events each week.
I think I would have to say Saturday would be my least favorite day of the week.

I love Saturdays. That is my day off of work. Saturday and Sunday. I like to work, but it is nice having a break at the end of the week. That way I can run errands, spend time with the family, and do my personal business that I don't have time to do during the week while I work.

I think Saturday has always been my favorite day of the week. When I was working full time it was the day I could actually relax a little bit and sleep a little later than usual. Now, I am a stay at home mom and I still like Saturdays because my husband is at home with me all day long and with the kids and it is our time to do stuff together. I usually don't have to "be on a schedule" on a Saturday and that is very nice too!

Saturdays are not too bad, my hubby does not have to work on a weekend so he is at home all day. I have the same problem as you, in that the kids get up bored and stay bored all day which leads to mass fall outs. I think that the worst day for me is Sunday, I hate sundays. They are just so slow and boring and rubbish.

I love Saturdays because it is the day where our whole family can go out and spend some time together. Sometimes my husband works on a Saturday and what we do is to go to the office with him so that we could all be together. We try not to schedule our daughter's extra-curricular activities and doing laundry on this day also; so that we could have the whole day and the whole weekend, for that matter, to be together.

I have almost the same situation. My fiance works every Saturday til 2. I have my 2 girls every week and his son every other week. He hates me so when Daddy isn't around he acts up. Today for example, he's defying me every chance he can. When I yell or punish him he acts up more because he's mad at me for him being bad. When he's here my 2 year old acts up too. She's already had a time-out today and he is grounded to his room already. We've only been up since 8am and it's only 10am now. I hate Saturdays.

according to your mention above ,Saturday is kind of suck for you~but everyone has his story,maybe for others,Monday or Tuesday is the least favorite day ~
for me,i can't find a reason why i don't like Saturday~ day off school,get things to relax ~

Well, usually Saturdays are pretty good
for me.
But today we had a very unfortunate incident
with the neighbor who got drunk and tore
down our fence.
Now I'm just a nervous wreck.
Ask me tomorrow what I think of Saturdays.

i do love saturday very much because the next day to saturday is sunday so we can enjoy a lot on saturday and we can take rest sunday so i like saturday very much .i ll go to movie with my friends and i ll go to resturant i ll reach to my home at night 12

Oh. That's a lot of work on a Saturday. The good thing is that won't be that way forever. Haha. You 5 kids will grow up soon and then you don't to drag them during Saturdays. ;D
Well, I love and hate Saturdays. Let me talk about the hate part first. I hate it because in our country and in our city, Saturday means it's market day and I'm the one who is tasked to do the buying of everything we need in the house. It's really a trouble for me. I need to wake up early. Argh.
I love it because it's my day after I've done the market thing. I get to do what I want. I can read books or watch movies all day long. I have the rest of the day for myself and I just love it. ;D

i love saturdays very much ,because i am a student now and there are lots of work to do each day except on saterdays and sundays .i feel to most student ,saturday is a happy time and in saturday we can do many things which we want to rather than were compulsoried by teachers ,we can get up late or go to market to buy something or relax ourslves .in a word ,saturdays are enjoyment to me .

I jut love Saturdays. That is the best day of the week. I hate it when it is Monday morning. ugh another long week ahead.

god i love Saturday's i have no work, i can sleep late which can be quite useful if i have a major hang over, and most of all no one is around the house so i can dance around in my under wear without any worries tom cruise style baby

I do like Saturdays. On Saturdays, I get to sleep in. I also get to be lazy. I don't have much to do on Saturdays except for laundry, maybe some light cleaning and of course some school work. Other than that, I can actually relax for once. Which is nice for me because during the week I'm going pretty much constantly.

i like saturdays because that is the only day of the week that we can sleep in and have a leisurely breakfast. we usually make bacon and eggs or pancakes or sometimes muffins and its nice just to have one morning to just slow down. sundays we leave by 9 am to go to church.

I love Saturdays because it's my day to relax from the stress of school. Sometimes I don't get to have that relaxation and I continue to work into the weekdays again. But for the most part, i's okay. Sorryy to hear you're so busy. Maybe you could manage a baby sitter =]You should pick a "me" day one day out of the month and dedicate it to yourself. Go to a Spa or to a masousse =]

I have a love/hate relationship with Saturday. I either have the day to myself and I can relax and do what I want, or (usually) I have my daughter who is 7 months so I am watching her and getting things sompleted around when she takes naps, or I am doing the second plus working from 11p to 7a. Sometimes Saturday is a good day, but mostly it's like any other day of the week for me.
