No, I don't care how many posts they have. I don't usually even bother to look at the number. What i respond to is the subject and how the person writes about it. It has to be sensible. It has to worth taking the time to answer. What's the big deal about getting to 3,000 posts? This isn't a competition.

I tend to be more intimidated by proliferate writers than anything. I'm very happy that they can think of topics to write about, but I know I can't compete. So I don't try to. My level of competition is against myself when I'm motivated. I want to do better than I did previously. I don't feel an excessive need to keep up with anyone else.

Yes I am motivated by very persistent and good writer. Not only the number of posts but also the ranking. I am impressed with people who contribute a lot of posts and yet with good quality. I hope you could make it soon with your 2000th post. Congrates in advance!

I get motivation by money. I want to know how much they made with their money. But that will violates the rules of mylot. I do make some targets towards the number and starrings.

Not really, but I am in awe seeing members with more than 15000 posts. I was thinking how long have they been MyLotting. And how much time did they spent in MyLot (i mean to sum it all up). The first time my discussion was responded by a member with more than 15000 posts, Oh! I was like "gosh! is she one the first few members here?" I was wondering also if another member can top the number of her posts.

Now I am someone with lots of posts, but I was certainly encouraged, when I first joined, to see that there were some members who had been posting here for a long time. I have now taken part in more than three thousand discussions. I am proud of that, and I enjoy getting paid every month, of course! You will soon reach 2000 and I'm sure you will be motivated to continue. MyLot is not really about numbers, because you will earn more from quality posting than you will from posting many one liners. My numbers build up almost without me noticing, because I am just enjoying my participation in the discussions.

Hi there my friend. I guess we all get motivated as we know that impossible is nothing and that we can reach lots of posts and lots of payouts. There are people that reach payout each month here, so this is only a matter of will.

Yes, seeing my friends with a lot of posts motivates me to make such. But i am more into responding than starting my own discussions. I am trying to reach 500 posts now.Have a nice day too! Good luck on that 2000 posts.

I don't get motivated, I just see a lot of posts from a lot of friends and wonder which ones I will respond to. With each person posting 5 or more posts each day, I realize there is no way I can respond to all, so I read each and pick one to respond to from each person if possible. This sometimes gets overwhelming, especially when some of the posts don't seem to have much substance. I've been wanting to post something lately but I have been too busy responding. What I'll have to do is ignore a lot of them in order to post one myself. How do you manage to answer everyones response? Happy posting. leenie

Hi NrDfenZ, Yes, i get motivated by the number because if someone can have spend so much time and earn the amount of money, why not me? Also, it shows that someone really believe in MyLot and have spend lots of time in here, so i should believe in it too. You already at 1660 and soon will be 2000, so don't forget to share on the payout proof as that even motivated more users for joining MyLot. So happy MyLotting and all the best for everyone.

Yes, I do get motivated when I see that a person has lots of post. Since I am just beginning there is a lot for me to learn. If you have any pointers for me ...let me know. How many post do you need before you see any payment for them?? Have you been paid for the post that you have made. I see you are at 1660 that is a lot!! Do you get more points if you start discussions or for responding or are they equally important for points? Like I said I have a lot to learn!

I don't really get motivated but when I did see that somebody had 50 posts in one day I wished I had time enough to do that. But, I know what I can do withe the time that I have to use.
