Do you make a bag lunch for your spouse or children

everyday before they live out to school or work? My husband started orientation with a new company yesterday, from my experiences the first day of orientation the company usually buys lunch for the new hires, even if it is just pizza. He called me at lunch time and said that he spent $7.95 for lunch, which was a slice of pizza and a drink. I said on no, that is too much and we do not have money like that. This morning I went to the store and got stuff to make him lunch, actually enough to last the rest of the week, and only spent a little more than he did for one meal. Does your family brown bag it every day?

Yep, I send hubby out the door with lunch in hand. I pack one for me too. We have a lunch guy at my office that sells sandwiches but I refuse to pay $4.50 for something I can make better and cheaper. I found it is just a matter of planning. Although I admit some mornings I have nothing to send him out the door with other than a can of spaghettios!

Even if it is spaghettios, it is something because everything cost so much, I wished my husband would eat spaghettios

My son takes his lunch to school a few days a week. This week it is 3 days he is taking a sack lunch and 2 days with school lunch. It depends on what they are serving for lunch. Some weeks he brown bags it 5 days. Packing a lunch is much cheaper.
