What is your sense of humor?

I thought of this while I was watching a horror/comedy called The Toxic Avenger or something similar. It was about a skinny nerd named Melvin who everyone was mean to and he fell into toxic waste and turned into a hideous monster. Then, he attacked the people who teased him and fought crime. I was contemplating the life lesson in it. Should anyone really kill all their enemies? One of his acts of revenge included holding a screaming guy down and dunking his hands in a deep fryer. He also chopped off someone's arm. I was surprised that he beat up a girl, too. But while considering this, I was laughing at the pain. I couldn't say there aren't people I would love to do similar things to! I have a dark sense of humor.

Ooer ... thinking about anyone's hands being dunked in a deep fryer is a bit nasty! I rather liked those types of things when I was younger, but I think you mellow with age. After you've had children your imagination goes wild because you can imagine all the awful things that could happen to them - and you change your perspective a bit. I wouldn't like to kill my enemies (don't really have any these days anyway) - it's easier just to stay away from them and keep them out of your life.

You are right about that. I mean, enemies who are far away and do not have the change to experience your brilliance should be agonizing enough. Sadly, there are a lot of times when you just can't escape from them!

That sounds like a good movie but I don't like graphic violence, I would rather it be implied than shown. No, we shouldn't kill our enemies because that makes us as bad or worse than they are! If we rise above them and keep our dignity, that's revenge enough.

Unfortunately or fortunately I don't share your dark sense of humour. I find it a bit wicked even though I know that you don't have evil intentions (at least I hope so)

Hi Sheepie, In his case it was revenge is sweet, hehe. No I couldn't do that sort of things but I have got a good sense of humour, I laugh at silly things and when I'm reading Mylot, there so many things to laugh about here because people on Mylot has a gret sense of humour, but I haven't got a dark sense of humour. I do not like that kind of movies but I have been known to laugh at the weirdest things. I think we all have a small or a big dark sense of humor. I know I do at times.
