Stonyfield Farm - Blackberry yogurt review

This Stonyfield Farm yogurt isn't fruit on the bottom for a change - smooth and creamy it says. Has a nice yogurt scent. Did stir a bit just to make sure nothing was hanging out on the bottom - since all the other ones of this brand were fruit (or flavor) on the bottom. Not bad, kind of took a moment to get the blackberry flavor, but once it arrived, it was very good. Good texture too - I don't like blackberry seeds and there's not any seeds or fruit bits, just lots of flavor. As I finish off this flavor, I think I would get it again, not up there with the chocolate underground, but a keeper none the less. I think I really prefer not having the fruit on the bottom, but that's just me.

We finally agree on one my friend. Blackberry mixed in of Stonyfield is my favorite. Glad you like it, too. Enjoy.

I like blackberries, but I don't care for the seeds of the whole fruit. The former roomie says just don't chew them, and I have kind of learned to handle them, but when they get caught in the teeth! Yikes!

the roomie chews gum to get that popcorn stuff out from between her teeth. i never have to worry about that stuff - since it's make me so sick to eat the popcorn in the first place

Maybe that's part of why it's my favorite. But I only started minding the seeds since my gums have gotten so they have moved away from my teeth and the seeds end up between my gums and teeth. Now that is miserable. The little thin sheets of stuff in popcorn gets in between there, too. That's even worse. My Dad had the same problem, must have inherited it.

Its like the yogurt gets runnier when you have to stir it up. I really liked the thick Greek Gods one I tried first, almost a flan consistency.

If you can find it, give it a try - I had to go to a place that advertizes itself for "foodies" to get it.

I would agree with you; I prefer to have fruit on the bottom. I have many types of yogurts on of them being a greek yogurt. It was Awful, I would not suggest trying it. I had two flavors, vanilla and berry bothe were horid. It tastes like rotten milk and not in a good way.

I have had 2 kinds of greek yogurt, a blue berry and a brand called Greek Gods. the former I could live without, but the other one was GREAT. I had the honey flavored one!

That is great to hear. It sounds like a really good yogurt. I bought some Trix yogurt at the grocery the other day but have not got to try it yet. thanks for the review on Stonyfield.

You'll have to review that for us, I'm sure that one is out for me, because I know that Trix is made from corn.

I've been eating it first thing in the mornings, when I remember to eat them! I view them as a, hopefully, pleasureable way to start the day. But I also trying to make myself more healthy because of the trouble I've had with my gut since surgery back in August. I don't know if they are actually helping, but I am enjoying the "experiment!"

I prefer the fruit on the bottom style to the stirred variety and eat it sundae-style...

I guess I never considered that, but then I'd almost have to turn them out of the containers, and I'm reluctant to dirty up a dish when I can just throw the container away - I know, I should recycle it....

Well, I don't actually put it in a dish... just put my spoon down the side of the container (I don't like dirtying dishes, either).
