When you're sick...

Do you feel your worst in the morning or in the evening, or is it the same all day? I felt quite sick yesterday with a sore throat and fever. Today the sore throat is gone, and this morning I felt okay, but within the past hour I've started to feel really bad. My head is throbbing and I just want to go to sleep. Most times I will feel worse in the morning, and be fine just before bed, but today seems to be working the opposite.

Strange you should mention that. I often feel sick in the morning and then it seems to get better as the day goes on and then comes back at night. Its almost like I forget about it for a while during the busy day because I don't have time to think about it, but when I slow down and relax, it all comes back. Weird.

You're not supposed to get sick, you are the mom! I'm sorry you are feeling bad. It seems that I am the opposite of you. If I am sick, which like you is rare (I remember this from another post of yours), I feel worse at night no matter what. I can usually try to keep going even though I'm sick. Granted it's at a much slower pace but none the less going. My kids seemed to get worse at night too. Maybe it's a genetic thing. Hope you feel better fast!

This is all thanks to my husband. Usually I can fight off whatever he has, but this time he gave it to me. My biggest complaint at the moment is the headache. If it weren't for that I could handle everything else, but it's making life impossible at the moment. The kids just got home so I feel like I'm going to explode, but I can't because it's too painful.

I usually feel really bad when I get up. Then through the day I'll feel better. Then as the evening goes on I start to go downhill again. my stuff nose usually waits till right before bed to show up again. I'm hoping I don't get sick because I don't want to have to be sick and standing out for the bus at 7:30am.

I'm lucky that the bus stops right in front of my house, so we can wait inside or on the porch for it.

Nighttime always is the worst for me, katsmeow! I noticed when my children were growing up that their illnesses always seemed to get worse at night. Their fevers always peaked then, and it was the time I did most of the worrying. Somehow it just seems as if the dawning of a new day puts a brighter face on everything.

I feel worse right when I get up and in the evenings when I am sick. I usually go to bed really early when I am not feeling good. I have went to bed as early as 6 pm before when I didn't feel good and for some reason when I don't feel good I can't get to sleep and just lay there and feel lousy.

I have that problem sometimes too, but not lately. I've been able to sleep very soundly lately, but that's probably because I haven't gotten a good nights rest in years thanks to the kids.

I always feel worse at night when I am trying to sleep, and the next morning I feel better. I hope you feel better is it your sinuses that't making your head hurt? It does that to my head.

No, my sinuses are not clogged yet, but I'm sure they will be. My sinuses always hit me the worst.

Whenever am sick, I dread mornings because when I wake up I feel the worst. But as the day progresses I find it easier.

I feel worse when I'm tired. If I'm not tired, I'm usually ok. I feel yucky when I wake up and before bed.
