How often do you charge your cell phone? I have heard some people say they put their phone on the charger every night. When I purchased my phone I was told if I put it on the charger like that every night it would damage the battery or make it weak and will not hold a charge long. Do you leave your cell phone on all the time? Not now I work nights, but when I was a normal person and did go to bed at night I would always turn my cell phone off. I was told that would help the battery last longer.

I never charge my cell phone unless it is low on battery. Some of my ex-colleagues used to put their cell phone on perpetual charging mode, but I've never followed after them. I don't get many calls on my phone, so I only needs to charge it once every two or three days, and even then, half an hour of charging is sufficient. I also never leave my cell phone on overnight unless I forget to switch it off. Hardly anyone calls me overnight. Those who are likely to call me in any emergency knows my home phone number so they can always call my home telephone.

I charge my cell when the battery is low. It needs to go on the charger about every two or three days. I sometimes keep it on the charger though because that way I know where it is without having to look for it. I dont like looking for my cell.

Normally I charge my phone when my cell phone's battery is almost gone or depleted. However, recently, i found a charger called "Energizer Energi to Go" that has no need to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Instead, it runs on two AA batteries, and I found one for my Nokia phone for $2 dollars at a thrift store, although there isn't any airtime for the phone. I use it as an organizer instead until I get some more minutes on it. But as I said, I only charge only when it's about to run out of power, or if it already has.

I charge the cellphone only when it shows me low battery.I keep my cell phone off in the night.I never charge my cell phone daily. It reduces the life of the battery. You are doing right by keeping your cell phone off at night.

I charge the battery about once a week, but sometimes I forget when I charged it, so sometimes it is every four days. And if I take pictures, then I have to charge it more. I have free evenings and weekends, but since I am at home most of the time, I keep the cell phone off unless I am going someplace in the evenings.

I charge my cell phone whenever the battery gets low. I usually leave it on the charger for a few hours and then take it off. My cell phone is on all day and all night. I don't use it that much but I can't turn it off at night because it is the only phone I have. I don't have a lan line so if someone needs to get a hold of us for an emergency they have to call on our cell phone.

I charge mine every night. I is actually a work one, that my work pays for, so it needs to be charged and ready at all times. I probably don't need to charge it as often as I do, but I don't ever want to not have it charged, it would be of no use to me that way, and I would probably get in trouble for not answering it if someone from work called.

I dont have extra battery but I always have my charger with me. I also dont travel long travels but if I do, I make sure I have extra phone with me. I charge my phone when it gets drained. I like the thought of continuous charging. Good day!

i usually just plug it in when it's getting low, sometimes that is at night, and i will leave it plugged in while im sleeping, lol just depends the time of day it starts to get low. I don't usually turn the cell phone off, bad habbit for when i am sleeping, but usually if anyone is calling me that late at night it is some type of an emergency so i really don't mind getting the phone call or waking up because of the phone call. The only time i really turn it off is in situations where it is needed, like the movies, in a meeting, etc.

I usually have to charge my cell once every 3 days. But I use it only for calling and SMS. If I would play games and listen music, I would have to charge it much often. I think leave the phone on charger during the night wont hurt the battery. I heard there is some kind of fuse, so when the battery is charged it will automatically stop receive any other electricity. I keep the phone on during nights, but turn off sounds. As far I do not use it during the night and have turnd on it just in cases of emergency, there is no a big consumption of battery I think.

I charged my battery regularly and yes...I think it does where you battery out sooner. When I let it run down until I get a couple of bars, my battery seems to last longer.

I only charge my battery when it is low and the alert comes on. Charging daily only depletes the batteries life as they told you at the phone shop. I leave my cell phone on day and night. Only my immediate family and close friends have the number so it is not like we get misdialed late night phone calls to bother or annoy.

I charge my cellphone if and only if battery is low. All the rechargeable batteries is having its own recharge cycles. This means number of recharge is calculated by number cycles when it comes to battery life. Even you charge for ten minutes its one cycle will get over. So less times of charging the battery more the lifetime of battery. If you switch off your cellphone during night no need of recharging oftenly. So battery life is more.

Depends on how much i use it. Normally i'll charge it every 2-3 days but sometimes if i'm using it a lot i'll charge it more

I leave my phone on all the time. So when it gets down to one bar for a charge then I put it on the charger. And yes if you just charge it all the time when it hasn't been used up then it will weaken the battey. As long as you keep track of how much charge you have you won't have the problem of it dieing on you. I have to though leave my phone on all the time in case family needs me in an emergency.

Yeah oftenly people put their mobile on charge for the whole night and i do so too and i think this happens because of lazyness or forgetfulness. These all were my past as when i knew3 the same thing i also stopped cahrging for long time too and i too switch off my phone at the time of charging too.

It depends on the model of your cellphone. From my experience old cellphones (Nokia 3310, 3210, 5110, etc) last longer because they have less features but as mobile technology progresses more features are added to cellphones making them more useful thus increasing their usage time which in turn decreases battery life. My cellphone now is an iPhone 3G and for me iPhone is a revolutionary cellphone because of its features. It's more than your usual cellphone but the downside of iPhone is its battery life. I charge my phone almost every 18 hours. T_T
