There is a Special Place in Hell for People like You

Really? Is there really a special place designated for certain sinners in hell depending on how "evil" their sins are? How different are they from just the normal places in hell?

that i don't know but i do believe that a corresponding sin has a corresponding punishment...sometimes i wonder also if there is a hell then what would it look like..how would it feel like to be there and how would it be when its time to pay our sins..i watch a movie before, its "hostel" and people there are brutally killed for millionaires pleasure and it made me wonder if it seems like it to be in hell

Hello angel_of_charm. It doesn't seem like you have to worry too much about hell because you've already been to heaven, ANGEL of charm. Heheh. I do think that every sin has a corresponding punishment or consequence if one hasn't atoned for it enough. I can't sit through a horror film. Sitting and watching such genre is another version of hell to me. Thank you much!

I guess some areas do have free parking and some offer ticket validation good for 1000 years. I think it's more welcoming and less exclusive as aren't we all sinners?

lol... I think there is. Its more horrific and tortuous and full of uninhabitable creepy crawlies and worms and creatures like we see in films like aliens or ..(Can't remember, in which Arnold Swatgenegar and Sharone stone acted??). PS: no offense meant..

Hello mou. I am not familiar which film you're talking about with our current governor and Sharon Stone in it. Hell to a lot of people is fire and brimstone added with a touch of creepy crawlies or whatever it is that the sinner detests, hates or is scared of. PS- No offense taken.

This may only be the case if I continue to talk about lemon cheesecake eh? Then it will be for me like with Tantalus and the grapes, only they will be slices of mascarpone cake...and NO milk! Have you read Dante's Inferno? I read it the first time in fourth grade and the librarian was horrified. She wanted me to read something at grade level. Yeah, right.

Hubby is not a milk drinker either, but certain foods I simply will not bother with unless there is a cold glass of milk next to them. One is pancakes, and then cake, and of course cookies.

I don't really think about hell that much anymore but when I was younger, I was so afraid that I might end up there. I am sure it's one big bad place like you said so maybe I should start thinking about it again. Thanks, Hatley.

Having been raised catholic... well, I have been taught that hell is going to be especially designed to each individual's sins and you will receive torture based on your number of sins, severity of sins, and type of sins. Naturally you can categorize sins somewhat, but in a manner of speaking every sinner will have a special place in hell especially designed to make him or her suffer for his or her sins. Of course commonly thought of is that minor sinners will receive less of a torture than lets say rapists and murderers. Anyhow, if there indeed is such a place... well, I hope I don't have to go there;)

I was raised a Catholic and went to a Protestant school, jonesy so hell was doubly emphasized as something that we hope we should never ever have to go to. Thanks for responding!

I am not sure what made you post this discussion. But if it makes you feel better, yes people do get categorized according to the amount atrocity they committed and they get to sent to different parts of hell to get tormented for things they did in life on earth. I hope you feel better :)

Hello kenchihi. I was just curious about that statement. No one really said that to me or to my face at least but I've heard enough people to just wonder. Thanks for clarifying!
