infected person tells health officials as many as 50 teens might have been exposed. Normandy High School in St. Louis, Missouri, consults national AIDS groups. Students being tested for HIV at six stations in the high school gymnasium.School refused to give details on who the person was or how the students at Normandy High School might have been exposed. The fallout has begun..a 16-year-old sophomore, said her boyfriend from a neighboring high school broke up with her on learning of the news -- after she bought them tickets to homecoming. Anything like this occurring in your area? How would you deal with it?

Unfortunately for the sophomore, her boyfriend is probably using this as an excuse. I mean, unless his girlfriend cheats on him he has no chance of contracting it.

Thank goodness nothing like that is going on at my son's school or any other school in the area to the best of my knowledge. I would be freaking out.

Wow! I am flabbergasted, I know this happened 4 weeks ago sorry just now answering but email is a bit backlogged. Kids need to start taking more precautions and schools need to do these types of test to keep teens safe. It is scary when something like this happens because it has the potential to take out alot of healthy people can you imagine 50 students and how many lives they come in contact with and then those people..and so one and so on.. They are lucky AIDS is not spreadable unless you have open sores and pass bodily fluids.

It is scary and it gets even scarier when they begin to track down the infected persons and find out there are more cases that need to be investigated. Scary.

I have four teenage girls and I think I would be totally shocked if this happened in their School. This is really bad news. I know a lot of sexually transmitted diseases are spreading at alarming rates in the UK, but Aids, this is awful. I think, health officals are going to have to go into Schools and re -educate students. I do not no how I would deal with this.
