"A 1995 radio interview with Barack Obama contains some interesting verbiage on the subject of race and salvation: specifically his claim that his salvation lies in collective salvation through politics -- which is consistent with the Black Liberation Theology he abosrbed from Rev. Jeremiah Wright. He also disparages suburban whites as unwilling to pay taxes for the benefit of inner city blacks." Watch the video and listen closley at just exactly how Obama feels about America! I've read his book. That was enough for me. How anyone can say that he is not racist is beyond me. I still wish Colin Powell hadn't turned over. If he were running, I would have voted for him.

Ldyjarhead, How true! Yes, it is a shame about Colin Powell although it has been reported that he had started moving further to the left philosophy long before this election year.

There was a time when we all where told that Obama was just a innocent person in the whole Rev. Wrong saga, yet more and more it looks like Obama went looking for Rev. Wrong's church because he believed in this non sense. Who knows maybe Obama taught Rev. Wrong about Black Liberation Theology. Let us remember Jeremiah Wright before he became Rev. Wrong was a Marine. You do not just go from being a Marine to calling America U.S. of KKK.

Actually, gewcew, Rev. Wright was introduced to black liberation theology at University of Chicago's Divinity School. While I do agree that some of his sermons are very angry and ugly, most of them weren't. There's a lot more to that church than the couple of sermons that made it onto Youtube...but tame and sane does not attract attention.

Everything is right out there in 0bama's own words. The people who vote for him should therefore not complain when the ideas he espouses become an unpleasant reality. I think a lot of people are going to be dismayed to see his plans unfold.

I watched the video rodney, and I have to say that if you live with a realist view of the world, this does all make sense. Have you ever driven through the poorest areas of your town? Can you say it is predominantly white people that live there? Have you looked at our welfare system, and the statisitcs that that the majority of these people are minorities? We do have a tendancy as human beings to try to supress others for reasons non other than greed and wealth. I could go on forever about this, but I'm not sure I'd even get my point across the way I'd mean to. But let's keep in mind that minorities are the fastest growing population in this country, and also the poorest population. Think about how that will effect us in the long term. We need to start addressing the issue now, and burying our heads in the sand because the issue of race isn't politically correct to address is not the way to handle it.

Thanks, rodney850. It's not surprising that Obama DID absorb some of what Rev. Wright said over 20 years. What is surprising is that someone didn't bring this out months ago. Oh yeah, I forgot. The media uses Obama's books and his own press releases as Gospel and doesn't care about anything else.

All the media, kenzie? I thought Obama was going to silence right wing talk radio so they must not be on his side? Why haven't they been talking about it?

Where was I when it was decided that today was Black Liberation Theology Day? How much do you actually know about it Rodney? There's a post of mine above this one (somewhere) that you can read if you'd like to be more informed.

Spalladino, Thanks for the comment. I have got to tell you, if black liberation theology teaches that God had better be on the black man's side or we must kill him, I know more than enough about it! This is not inspired of God or even brotherly love, this is inspired by hate and blasphemy of the most hideous kind and for someone of the intelligence (yes, I believe he is an intelligent man)of Obama to subject his entire family to this poison for tewnty+ years should be a crime in itself! How can you be taught that doctrine and then turn around and portray yourself as a healer? But then Obama is at odds against himself in other matters as well such as; it is okay to let a baby of a botched abortion lay alone and die but we must mandate healthcare for all children! I don't even know why I try because it will never become apparent to the "blinded by the Obamalites"!
