Blast from the past Christmas project

I was searching around for some new Christmas craft ideas and I came across these. I am not sure if they were popular where you're from, but about 15 years ago these were huge where I lived in Indiana. The were christmas ornaments made from recycled christmas cards. I made a ton of these that sold like hotcakes at local craft shows. I thought it would be fun to post these blasts from the pasts. Anyone still make these. I always save my chistmas cards swearing I'm going to do something with them and never get around to it. Maybe I will give this a go this year. http://www.gardensandcrafts.com/recycledornaments.html

I made those as a kid. With the emphasis on recycling now those would be very popular.

I've never seen those before! That looks like fun. I have a lot of cards that can be put to use and I could hang the ornaments in the window. Thanks for sharing!

We use to make those in school every year. I bet my mom had a ton of them on our tree when we were growing up!
