Hi, can you have a good sleep before a big event on the next day? For example, you are going to travel for leisure tomorrow, can you have a good sleep tonight? I couldn't. I'll get excited and hardly get into sleep. My brain will be thinking of tomorrow plan. How about you?

Oh my, I have the same problem too. I just can't sleep when I am excited for the next day's trip. It always happens to me. Even if I try my best to sleep and turn off all the lights, there seemed to be bugging me inside. I always look forward to what will happen the next day, new things to see and people to meet, especially when the place we will go is for travel or vacation. I remember when I was in college and it was my first to have my first trip away from home for five days. I was so excited that I was not able to sleep until the time we left.

No,I try and even have taken cold pills as they make me sleepy, but they rarely work. I wosh I could just turn my mind off, but it is very hard.

I am not the best sleeper anyway, but if I had a trip planned the next day, NO, I would not be able to sleep. My mind would be racing about the trip, also, trying to remember if I have everything I need. I would be thinking about my cats, I would be hoping that my husband would get up early enough to checklist his personal things he wants to bring. Oh yeah, my mind would be racing, and sleep would not be part of my plan. If I am flying, that is a good thing though, that way I am really sleepy and can sleep on the plane.

I am not properly sleeping before I want to go to any trip or travelling in tomorrow. Actually I don't know why I am thinking like this. My brain is not properly working before we were traveling to any place. Happy myLotting.

I'm the same way I can never sleep good I'm excited about the trip and think about it, if I'm already packed the night before then I'm usually going through my head of what I packed to make sure I don't forget anything. I have a hard time sleeping in general for various reasons but when i have something going on it's always harder

I get anxious as well especially if I have to get up early to travel that I will get up in time, so I have to have more than one alarm to wake me, I have my mobile and my clock radio both set, I worry that there will be a power cut or I will oversleep, so my brain won't shut down and let me sleep as well as the excitement on top! I will lie in bed tossing and turning because I just cannot rest or relax, I have given up going to bed early as I can lie for hours without being able to sleep! My brain won't switch off!

I can never get to sleep when I am getting ready for a big trip or a vacation. And I am usually the one who is driving, so this is not such a good thing. But I do always manage to stay wide awake for the whole drive. The last trip I took was to move where I am now. It was 950 mile drive. I didn't get to sleep until about 1 am. I tossed and turned and then finally got up at 3 am because I just couldn't sleep. Since we were planning to leave early, I figured I might as well just get up and finish getting ready. I did get to take one last bath in my giant garden tub of my old house because I got up so early. That was kind of nice. We got off to a late start and got mixed up a couple of times after dark for reasons not my own. But we made it safe and sound even though it took a lot longer than expected. I hope you have a great trip planned and you will get enough rest to at least make it there safely. Have a good evening!

I'm the same way, if I'm planning on going somewhere the next day, and I'm all excited about I can't sleep. I try to, but I'll just lay there thinking about where I'm going and what I'm going to do tomorrow. Then when tomorrow comes, I'm tired, because I didn't get any sleep...lol.
