Joan and Lydia Wilen bring this advise to you. Note the studies in the last line and if you want to see them look on line Cut your cholesterol nearly in half -- with avocado? Yes, according to scientific studies, the Wilen Sisters' "avocado cure" really could lower your cholesterol up to 42%. It turns out avocados are positively packed with heart-healthy omega-9 fatty acids -- and they're rich in a compound called beta-sitosterol, which has been shown to lower cholesterol in 16 different studies!

Mmmm.. avocados! This is excellent advice, also olive oil and salmon contain healthy fats/oils, nuts, etc. I believe oatmeal and cheerios are good options as well, and just in general more fruit and vegetables.

Oh yeah Pat I love avocados. Plain with salt or add some lemon juice, in salad with tomatoes and olive oil... My all time favorite way to eat avocado is guacamole!
