Are your dogs scared?

I have a heeler that is terrified when there is thunder, fireworks or any lound banging noise. He will hide and shake uncontrollably. Does anyone else have a dogs that is scared of these things? What is your dogs scared of?

Dogs that fear loud noises are usually passed on from the mother in whelping stage and puppy stages with the mother and litter.

My dog is scared of toy snakes... if theres one on the floor she wont go near it (works really well when i want to keep her out of a room but want to leave the door open) and rubber chickens. Shes not scared of loud noises or thunder.

my aunt chased her with a rubber chicken. shes been scared of them ever since.

I have no dogs in my home. But I saw that dogs will scare for thunders and unknown noises. sometimes it will scare for human beings also.

My dog, a Labrador cross, is terrified of them - she trembles and sometimes wets herself. And the trouble is, fireworks are getting bigger and louder all the time.
