what's your device of choice for listening to music?

Do you have an ipod or another type of mp3 player? What brand is your player? How often have you had to change players due to defects or whatever? Are you happy with the features of your player? I'm trying to decide on a player and want to get one that is not too expensive (so it won't be an ipod!) but will still have some features (mainly a screen so I can see what I am playing!) and not have to be replaced in a short period, kinda like the first generic one I bought. Any advice on where to get good prices on these without sacrificing value? Do you have a player with a built-in speaker? If you do, what is the quality of the sound? Do you like the earphones that came with your player? Are they comfortable? Do they still work or have you had to replace them already? Thanks in advance for reading and responding! :)

I have an ipod touch, i've had for it nearly 10 months and now my home button doesn't work which is really annoying as if i want to watch a film and are listening to music i have to turn it off and start it again. Although no matter how problems i have with ipods i still love them. and to answer your question on price my dad bought an ipod video 2 years ago and still has it, he bought from ebay and it only £30. and with all the memory ipods have on it then i think thats pretty good value for money

I have an iPod Nano that I use when I jog. It helps me zone out the traffic noise and the other people around me when I run. It helps me run harder and longer which helps me mantain my weight and concentrate more on running rather than loud people distracting me while I run.

Well, as the world is shifting towards a greater and faster technological change, I am forced by the world to carry an ipod with me! Be it in a bus or in the train, my ipod is always there and I 'rotate' my fingers to hit my favourite songs! However, when I am at home, I prefer the good old tape recorder / cassette player. It's a totally different music experience altogether. You lock yourself in your room and switch on your tape, it is just amazing. Such sweet, lovely, melodious music flowing out and it really relaxes you unlike the ipod where the earphones cause a pain in your ears after sometime. Of course, since it is portable, I use it during travel. But, when I am at home, its always my old favourite tape recorder.

I would have to say my ipod touch. I can listen to album that i put on it. Also I can listen to internet radio through my wi-fi connection. This is the best way for me to listen to music
