Thunder & Lightening In November?

Sorry to hear you all are having all this bad weather. We are having fantastic weather here and no rain is in sight. I believe when we do get it it is going to hit us hard. I have been watching the Weather Channel and they are still talking about Hurricane season, something about a tropical storm.

I absolutely love thunderstorms. I can live without the rain, but I completely love the massive thunder that rumbles your belly and the lightening that makes the street lights go off. Here, we haven't been getting many good storms and it makes me sad. Enjoy your weather.

I just saw the weather report a little bit ago and saw the radar map.. yes it looks a bit wintry and weird.. Then of course I was hopin' it doesn't head here to Wisconsin! Yes, Grandpa Bob there's just something a little spooky (I think!) about thunder and lightning during wintry weather! We've had some great weather the last couple of weeks here! I love that! Hate to rush into cold weather! Feelin' cold already!

We had a tornado watch last night, hail, lightening, and thunder. It hailed so badly it looked like it had snowed when we woke up this morning. Last night it knocked out my power. So after an hour of sitting in the dark, I headed over to my parent's house. I can't believe I got there in one piece. Just going from the driveway to the front door I got soaked. And boy did the hail hurt! I got a bump on my head from the hail. I can't believe how bad it was. I remember wondering if I was headed for a rain wrapped tornado. I could barely see anything.

i've seen it snow and thunder at the same time here. that's totally freaky. we really haven't had any odd storms,but it's been unseasonably warm. i have a pot of tulips sprouting because it thinks it's spring or something.

Well I was going to tell you to brace yourself, that thunderstorm your getting now just passed through here in Oklahoma last night and it was headed straight towards Minnesota, we had up to 75mph winds, and hail, and we had some tornado warnings in that, the wind was scarey, I could hear things on our deck getting blown over. Today its beautiful, the suns shining, warm, alot different from yesterday. For this time of year this is weird weather, its been exceptionally warm.

Well it has basically rained all day here in my state of Kentucky. We have been having warm weather in the 70's during the day and 40's at night. But the weather channel said that we have had our last warm day for awhile. I don't know about the snow or when we will get some but I am hoping it will hold off for awhile still.

We have had beautiful weather, sunny and in the 70's for a few days. Today was the last of it, we have a cold front coming thru and possibly snow this weekend. You can keep all the nasty weather up your way, its not wanted down hre.

We had a storm three weeks ago with thunder and lightening. Boy does the noise scare the cat and the dog. Petie was on my lap and the cat kept running from under one piece of furniture to the next. They do not like the big booms. The storm was over the top of us so it was quite loud. Here in the central San Joaquin Valley it is rare that we have thunder and lighting.

Nothing out of the ordinary where I live. We are still in Hurricane Season down here but not expected to get anything tropical this late in the season. I think it is strange when it does snow and it is thundering. The weather has been weird in so many places.

Hi Grandpa Bob... No storms like that here....yet!!! I hope they don't come this way...I wonder if that is a sign that our Winter is going to be horrible....I sure hope not..

As you remember, we have had a dry summer and fall so far and I would love to have some rain here..We are getting some, starting either tonight or tomorrow, but with it comes cold temps, yuck..I would love to have rain with thunder and lightening, thunderstorms relax me as long as there is no real danger..

hi Bob well we dont have real november as yet, instead of cold, its still with warm days but cold nights weather pattern is changing and i think its part of Global Warming too, Not sure whats going to happen in futures as all seasons are shifting Take care

I hate thunder and lightening. It frightens me. Goodness me last week you had an Indian summer, now you have snow. Last week we had snow, yesterday we had an indian summer. We are in for severe gales tonight. So next week we should have your thunder and lightening and you will have gales. Goodness me isnt the weather strange at the moment. It is odd for this weather in November. We are having four seasons in a week. Well hope you do not get hit to hard by that storm and the snow coming your way. I will probably those a few roof tiles tonight. I hate the gales.

There is weird weather presently being experienced on a global scale. Here in South Africa we are having some of the strangest weather we have ever known.What about floods and earthquakes e.t.c. in other countries.Here we have not had our usual Quota of rainfall in Spring this year and now we have the threat of a severe drought throughout the country.The world does not seem like the one that we once knew,lets hope,no lets pray that it will change back to what it once was.!!!!LOL!!!!

The only odd thing we are experiencing is the very unusual warm temps. I was wearing shorts/t-shirt just yesterday and today it was just a bit cooler. Supposed to drop down into the 50's over the weekend thou.

Our Ohio weather is always crazy. It's been down in the 30's at night, and then it'll be close to 70 by noon. It's supposed to be warm today, and then tomorrow we're supposed to be getting some wet snow.

Just the nice Indian Summer that comes to an end today. I do hope if we get any thunder that it waits till I'm home, Gus is terrified of thunder! We are supposed to get some rain today, I hope it's true! It's been such a dry summer.

I hate thunderstorms, we do not get many of them but when I think one is coming it really scares me. The worst would be for me it happening when I was going to pick up the kids from school! Our weather here has gone awfully cold, it has made me quite ill too going in and out of warm and cold everyday. I have had a cold that started off in my tummy and has worked its way to my head I have been ill for a week or more and I am fed up of it. I just cannot shift it at all. But for say that it is cold we have not done too bad rain or snow wise, I know other places have had snow but we seem to have escaped it so far.

im in the uk its been very cold for us at the moment.not something we are used to this quickly.i love thunder storms and we dont really get many bad ones here.as for snow we sometimes get a light covering but nothing that we can have any sort of fun with.would love to see the kids in the garden this year makeing snowmen and haveing snowball fights.where my other half works they had snow and a bunch of roadworkers haveing snowball fights must have been a funny sight
