Sarah and Grissom broke up, now how are they going to get rid of Grissom

We were watching the last episode yesterday, where Sarah was on this cruise and talking to why she and Grissom were no longer an item. My husband and I were joking is that this before the ship blew up and that Sarah along with the other passengers are now at the bottom of the ocean. Well never heard that at the end of the show, but seeing the prequel for the next episode, makes me wonder whether Grissom might meet a violent end. Now I know that they gave the idea of Delko dying in an explosion in the last episode of CSI Miami. But then in the episode before of CSI Grissom had difficulty hearing. So do you think Grissom will leave CSI because of health issues, i.e. his hearing, or do you think that he will be murdered or die? Or do you think that he will just go quietly off in the sunset, like with Lady Heather, or someone else?

It is already official that he is leaving. Laurence Fishburn will be taking his place. He announced it on television at the Emmy Awards.

I think his hearing is going. I know the last time, he went to get an ear operation, but I heard that Pederson is planning to go into theater, so that would mean that Grissom might have to leave the set for a while. I think the excuse would be that his hearing loss is permanent and that he will be leaving and making guess appearances.

idont know where he is going and the end whowill be a good rusult.because it is designedby the director, not by us.but you image what the actor will be ,it is what you can do,because you notice the development of the actor and the story.so it is good for you to have an imagenation.

Thanks. I have some ideas why Grissom is leaving. I heard the actor playing him wants to expand his experience, for instance, in live theater, but he might make movies. He would be good in action adventure movies - the head of a paramilitary force going after evil terrorists.

I think he will leave because of a health problem. I was thinking of that movie Dark Victory when Bette Davis realized that she was dying when she could no longer see, but what if Grissom losing his hearing having a tumor pressing against his inner ear and that is a brain tumor and it is inoperable. I guess when he makes guest appearances the other CSIS will be going to the hospital and tell him of thier cases.

I think he will decide enough is enough, and just walk away. Between losing Warrick, losing Sarah I feel he has lost his passion for the job. Does anyone here watch Criminal Minds? When Mandy Patinkin's character was written off, he just left. He wrote a note to a member of his team, and was gone. I have a feeling this is what Grissom will do.
