Where did my notifications go???

I was having much trouble with the email address I used here when I first signed up at myLot. I used an email from one of my own web domains rather than from Google or Yahoo. I started only getting certain friends notifications. I even went and checked a few of my friends profiles to see if they were still here and if they had been posting on the site. And I found that some of my friends were not getting my notifications either. So I changed my email on my account to my Gmail address.
Now I am getting very few notifications from my friends even though they are set to ON. 
I checked their profiles and they have started discussions, I'm just not getting them??? My friends probably think I'm not interested. 
Has this ever happened to you??? Anyone know how to fix this???

i don,t have to many problem on my computer connecting to my lot it does run slow after i been here a while but i can handle that.it sound like you can,t win for losing. i don,t get half of my notification in my e-mail that they are starting a discussion.i get a few only i wonder why is that.

i think its a fluke with mylot.. i hear of several people that wont get many or any for a few days and then things go back to normal and never have another problem again.. maybe it will fix itself.. ??

thanks for the br.. hopefully everything gets fixed ok.. some one else posted having a similar problem the last couple of days so maybe its affecting several people

Well, it happens to me as well. And what I do is to regularly check on those profiles to get updates.
One of the things I did was to talk to those friends via PM. Tell them that I am going to delete their profile from my list. Then add them back and need their help to approve it.
Once that is done, see if the problem still persist. It worked for me so far.
Why not send a ticket to mylot administrator to see what is going on?

Hey kathy! It is not something that we have any idea how to
fix! I don't get email notifys from all my friends. I get it
from some people and some people I don't ever get it. They say
that they have my notify "on" but I never get their notifys.
So it has to be something with mylot. I have a yahoo addy
that I use for mylot only. All mylot mail comes into that
addy. I find it is easier for me that way. My other addy is
for other stuff. I don't know what to tell you. I have tried
contacting mylot about it along with the fact that my pm's
don't work if I try to send someone a pm and they haven't
ever fixed it in the five months that I have been here so I
don't know what to tell you. So every now and they when I do
finish my emails I just check the discussions that friends
started and go from there. I know it's annoying but I don't
know what else to tell you.

I don't think that I always get notifications either. I just don't worry about it anymore. I really think that myLot has severe glitches sometimes. Oh well.
