I don't think I will ask for their signatures. I am not a big fan of the celebrities. I will listen to their songs or go to see their movies. But I am not interested in having their signatures.

Me either, I might ask for a picture taking with them instead. It's nice to see a celebrity right in front or just around the corner with you. I will tell my friends that I had met a celebrity and show them our pictures. :)

Hi youless, I won't do such thing even when I was teens. Just like you I prefer to enjoy listening to their songs and watching their movies. I've great interest reading all kinds of news and stories about them and their family, but not to have the trouble as well as spending my precious time waiting in a long queue just for the sake of getting a signature. This is the real story told by one of my colleagues. She was a great fan of a popular singer from Taiwan, Liu WenZheng who was famous of his song, Lan Hua Cao(wild ochid flower), during her teens. She was so crazy until to play truant for several days. She and her classmate prefered to take the trouble to travel few hundred miles away from their hometown just to fulfill their young dream to sight their idol and to get a signature on the album as well. She herself did feel silly and ridiculous when telling us this old sweet story. posting and have a nice day.

Yeah, she herself also doesn’t understand why she was so crazy about him during those younger days. She is actually in the early forties this year, still considered to be a young lady, right. Well done young gal, you are always doing all those convenient things to serve your mom. You are really a caring daughter. Take care.

If I meet my favorite football players yes I would ask them for their autographs. I would like to keep football memorabilia especially about my favourite Italian team Inter. © ronaldinu 2008

Hi Youless.....I also share your attitude.......I admire certain people for their contributions. But when I come across them,I do not rush to them to get their signature or to talk to them..after all they are also entitled to some privacy in public, isnt it?

You are right. Celebrities shall have some privacy in public. Perhaps they will be annoyed when others bother them in public.

Hello my friend! When I was young I collected autographs, but I would mainly send away for them! I would write to the TV stations and ask for signed autographs, a lot of the times they would personalize them, i.e To Brian from ..., some would even write personal messages which I was chuffed about! Sadly I got rid of them, they would have fetched a bit of money if I had kept them and sold them on Ebay! But yes I would, then, but not now, not unless it was Leonardo Di Caprio, but I would want to see him in person!!!

I have actually met and know some people who are celebrities in various ways, but I don't ask for signatures or signed photos. I'm just not into that stuff. I have some signed photos and signatures, but they're packed away somewhere in my place and I don't know where they are. I am often a fan of many celebrities' work, but most of them are just people with their own problems and preferences. So, I tend to treat them like anyone else, which means I wouldn't want their signature.

I am like you. Celebrities do not really impress me that much. I may like their artistry, but their signature on a piece of paper is of no value to me. I know that there are people who collect autographs and people who buy other remembrances of stars and musicians, but it will not be me.

I don't think i would... i already had the chance to meet international celebrities face to face... but i never did ask for their authograph... since i don't have any use for them... or that i would certainly lose the paper or picture with their signature...

When I was still schooling I would like to. But now I couldn't be bothered to unless I have a book or some postcard or a poster of the singer or movie star, I would ask them to sign their signature so that when I sell the book , I can sell it at a high price.hehehehhe!!!!!

I have only ever been interested in one athletes autograph (and i have it) but other than that one i am not interested in their autograph or their opinion which it seems they give freely and never know when to shut-up.

Hello When I was younger I was more into that , ya know what i mean . I have before stood inline to get a fav ball player to sign something . If the moment is there I might ask , but then again maybe not . I have played it cool LOL. Just be yourself around them and you never know what may happen. Friendship may form .

I never thought of taking their even i have met my dream actress once and i have not taken. Its not a thing that i am not interested, basically i could not able to preserve for long time as i may lost somewhere. I may take if the celebrity is being liked by my friend and that time i take it and gift to them to see the smiles on their face.

I am like you, nothing so special about getting the celebrities signature. I don't adore any celebrities at all, maybe I only admire them from distance. Well, I do appreciate their talents but going all out to get their signatures is way out.

i guess it depends.. if i find someone i really like, a real fan of.. i would ask for their photo.. (celebraties in this country are still willing to take photos with their fans).. i dont ask for signatures - so troublesome.. i dont necessarily carry my handbag with me all the time.. so, i wont have a pen and notebook with me all the time... but i do carry my handphone with me almost all the time.. so i am sure to have a camera with me...

Hi there youless! I am not also fans of celebrities. I don't scream or follow when I see one. To me they are just ordinary people with a job of being in showbiz. When I see one I just look at them to see what they look like in person. Check out who they're with then thats it. I don't even take pictures of them. One time I saw Sam Milby, standing in front of me I did nothing. Just look at him while the other girls from the my far away back ran and asked for autographs. Hmmmm... I just walk like nothing happens. Ciao!
