i was watching "most evil" which is a show on dr stones scale of evilness based upon killers etc.. anyways they said that there was a study based in the usa that says that 1 in every 100 people in the usa is a psychopath.. now i understand how i keep running into psychos!! lol.. but seriously there are several studies out there and even one that says 1 in 25 but even i with my great history of insane people think thats a little high lol.. so do you think that psychopaths are really that common?? i do.. do you think it will just keep getting to be more and more? i couldnt imagine that and dont wanna!!

I have worked in the public for many years.....and I believe this....to a point! I think high stress levels are driving alot of people to the brink..and as a result it's showing up in every level of life.

Of course it'll get worse. With all those silly laws it's difficult for us to kill each other off..... Um... I didn't mean to say it like that. ( Using jedi mind trick ) You did not read what the psycopath just wrote to you...

you are using the term too lightly what people call psychos are just mental ill people or people that used to be called crazy, psychopaths are a very specific kind of condition and that program should have known the term psychopath has been changed to sociopath. that is a very high percent for the average population, I would have to see the whole show to know exactly what they were talking about. What they were grouping into this condition and in fact it really was what they were supposed to be grouping in it.

My question would be what are they using to classify a psychopath? I really don't think they are that common and although i do see how we could get more and more of them.

It does seem like there are a lot of messed up people out there. Every night, the news starts with the murders in the area. I can't believe I live in a city where people are murdered on a daily basis! It is amazing to me that there are so many murderers. I think 1 in a 100 sounds about right, unfortunately.

oh dear...luckily i don't live in the u.s. but why are so many crazy people in u.s.a? is it because of a stressful working life? or it is social pressure? or some other factor?

ive been trying to figure that out since we are the like most crime ridden country so i have heard.. i think we dont punish people good enough with our laws.. if we actually did something more strict then the people abusing their kids, killing other people, etc etc might not be as many and then the affected wouldnt have so much to deal with mentally to where they go nuts or something.. but thats just a theory.. i wonder what the statistics are for crazy people in other countries to compare.. lol

lol its funny that You Don't Know about statistics they just pick 500-600 people and test them and then 4-5 people are psycos and they declare 1/100 is psyco thats all to it statical data isn't accurate...it never is.

well there are several different studies for them all to have gathered around the same percentage.. if i went on personal opinions i would almost think it would be higher.. that or TN holds 99% of the affected lol
