Cheeseaholic?

Nice smelly, mouldy stilton! - Stilton cheese

I absolutely love cheese. I don't think there is one type of cheese that I don't like, not that I have tried every single cheese type in the world but I would certainly love to. I dearly love a bit of camembert or brie and the softer and smellier the better. I would have to say that stilton really is my favourite though - well at the moment and admittedly has been for many years now. I think my youngest son of 3 is following in my footsteps as he always wants some whenever I am eating it. I am not sure it is good for him to eat but I usually let him have just a tiny bit. What is your favourite cheese? How many different cheeses do you think you have tasted?

Hi Humbug, I am not overly keen on blue cheeses although I love them in receipes, for example a tasty stilton and peppercorn sauce on a steak. I do like a mature cheddar, locally produced and also Camerbert with a redcurrant sauce. I eat most cheese though and my absolute favourite is Wensleydale. Huggles. Ellie :D

I don't think I'm a cheeseaholic but I do like my cheeses. I prefer the Cheddar although Edam and Parmesan are also pretty good. My favourite snack is toast with butter and a slice of cheese. Or, shrimp and cheese with the shrimp cooked with Black Bean Sauce.

i cant say i have tasted many types of cheese, and i dont even claim that i know all the types there are, but i really love cheese. but i kinda prefer to have it with something else, like in a sandwich. and i also like it melted, that way you can have the full taste of it. yuummmy!!! i love to experiment in the kitchen, and always come up with new things... but i have to say that a lot of my experiments have cheese as one of the ingredients. just recently i made a sandwich with salsa and cheese and oregano and chili flakes, and i have to say and everyone who tasted it, loved it... happy myLotting

Cheesaholic? ME ME ME!! =D Who can't help loving cheese? ;D I've liked most cheeses I've tried, however, I tend to prefer the ones that aren't very strong. I'll eat almost anything if there's cheese with it. xD Cheese.. mmm..

Oh Yeah! i love cheese. Well there ain't much types available here in india. But i love to have cheese in almost everything. If there is pizza, it should have extra cheese. If there is burger, it should be a cheese burger. Everything i eat, i want cheese in it. And that picture of cheese sure looks yummy.

I am definatly a cheeseaholic too. I eat cheese on just about everything. I have to admit though I do not think that I am brave enough to eat any stinky moldy cheese though. I stick to the basic cheeses such as American, cheddar, colby, jack, pepper jack, parmesian, and ricotta cheeses. I could eat cheese for meals if I could.

I do not think I am a cheesaholic, but I do like cheese a lot! I think it tastes great with everything and everything tastes better with cheese! I don't know what my favorites are...but I know I haven't tried a cheese that I didn't like yet! My daughter also likes cheese - she is 1 year old and was eating swiss cheese the other day! I couldn't believe it!

I enjoy using cheese in recipes, sometimes I even add cheese in recipes where none is called for. I can't call myself a cheeseaholic though, not by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, I'd be more than willing to let the real cheeseaholics have all the cheese, if I (and others like me) could have all the chocolate....lol.

havarti cheese - this is some good cheese
I love cheese too although most cheeses i have are the chedders. I do love monterey jack. I also love the white cheeses. One of my favorites is havarti cheese. It is excellent. I also like cream cheese and cottage cheese. I make a mean mac and cheese with different cheeses.

I am not sure I have a favourite but I do love King Island cheddars. Too expensive for me at the moment but there is another Australian one called Mersey Valley which is heaven. I absolutely adore every cheese I have ever eaten, Camembert, Brie, cheddar, blue castello. I could go on for ages. Unfortunately we are trying not to eat it at the moment as it is not good for our diet.

I'm with you! Cheese is delicious. Sometimes I'll just grab a piece of Swiss or Muenster for an in-between meal snack. I also like those little rolled up mozarella sticks. Swiss and Muenster are about the lowest in sodium so I favor those. And when you put one slice of each of them together for grilled cheese, WOW. I'm not sure that I have a favorite, I just know wherever cheese is served I eat it!

Hi there sunnybeaches and welcome to myLot I have always got cheese in too. If you go to a proper deli you can decide on how much you want and sometime try it before you buy it. I wouldn't want to buy a huge chunk of expensive cheese only to get it home, taste it and decide I don't like it but I can't imagine that ever happening LOL Thanks for your response and happy myLotting!
