Do you have long nails?

when girls have long nails and put manicure in it it looks nice.But me i always cut my nails because whenever i work on something i cannot be comfortable if i have long nails.Aside from the fact that there's always something that would stick inside if nails are long and i dont want that.

No, I dont have long nails.. because in my childhood, in my school, they are very strict, they will check ourself when we enter in to the school, that - whether we cut our nails properly - whether we wear our uniforms neatly - whether we wear our inner wears or not - whether our shoes are properly polished - whether we tie the ribbon on our hairs, and properly tied. - whether we neatly dressed.. If any one of the above is missing, they will complained the same to our principals, and this will be intimated to our parents, and they will be corrected the same in the next day, if it continues for the next day, we will be send back to home.. So, my mom used to cut my nails once in a week time.. That habit was been followed by me even todyay, may be for this reasons or so.. i dont like to allow my nails to grow more.. keeping more long nails will have more disadantages only, more of the dust will form and it will distrub us to eat.. etc.. etc.. The one good thing I got in my genes were good fingernails. I grow them out and give myself manicures. I do not like professional manicures. I let them get as long as I can stand, then I cut them off and start over. I don't like them too long, I don't like it when they get crud under them and I also do not like it when they get in the way. If they get too long, I will almost always smash one and break it to low to the skin and it hurts. So I keep them trimmed!

hello Anitajayakumar, (what a long username - hehehe) Well anyway, I prefer to have short nails and with no manicure. For others I know it looks attractive. I do admire people who have their nails beautified with manicure, but when it is on my nails,, which I have tried couple times, I feel discomfort. It looks dirty on my nails. That is what I have on mind as I am seeing it. For others, long nails are attractive, but there are lots of disadvantages. It easily get dirty, so it needs a lot of attention in order to keep in clean, there is a chance you will get wounded, when you feel itchy, you will be tempted to scratch it with your nails, so if it is short, then less likely to be wounded.

I do not have long nails. They grow a little bit and then they start breaking and peeling. My cousins have very pretty nails and I always wanted mine to look like theirs, but they never did.

I use to have really long nails before and people thought they were fake till I told them to try to remove them. It wasn't really smart to have long nails (real), because my thumb nail broke in half when I was trying to pull my pants up, and bled... T_T I play guitar anyways so I'm suppose to have short nails so I can reach each string in the proper way for each fret. So long nails are attractive and all, but you got to take good care of them, not unless you play guitar or any instruments that don't require long nails. Otherwise the sound won't sound right. Or even in my case, you might break em if you don't take care of them.
