. . . do you tend to lean into it? You know, like when one is driving through the mountains and the road becomes very windy . . . does your body lean to the left or to the right depending where the bend takes you? Just a thought? I seem to be a leaner myself.

did you know that trying to remain perpendicular to the seat of the car can and will help you feel the car's behavior better and allow early warnings to loss of control of your vehicle? it is more so true in racing than driving to work, but in inclement weather it could help you. the better contact you have with the car and sitting as upright as possible with out being uncomfortable helps. why do you think the racing harnesses are pulled tightly? to further allow the driver to feel what the car is doing. it is also a safety issue but the side benefit is there also. so bottom line, try to reain as upright as possible while driving. make the morning commute as safe as possible.

Yes. i have done that on a motorcycle and on a 4 wheeler too. I have also done that in a car before also if I am travelling faster than I should be.

Hi Gtargirl, Oh yes I definitely do this, having ridden a bike I guess it is automatic and the kids laugh at me when I do it but I just can't seem to help it LOL. Huggles. Ellie :D
