What did the turkey do?

My friend sent me this story today. I could have just fallen off the chair laughing. You see I'm a visual kinda person. I could see the parrot asking with an an off beat accent and it's head slightly tilted... My New Parrot Recently I received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. I tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else I could think of to "clean up" the bird's vocabulary. Finally, I was fed up and I yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. I shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder. So, in desperation, I threw up my hands, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that I'd hurt the parrot, I quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto my outstretched arms and said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior." I was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As I was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued, "May I ask what the turkey did?" HAPPY THANKSGIVING! So what did your turkey do to? My turkey was the perfect size for my deep fryer, YUMMY!

Hi kathy! That was a really cute joke! I was reading it and I had no idea what the punch line was going to be! I love it when I have no idea where the joke is going! I have never ever had fried turkey! I heard it is really yummy, but I don't have a deep fryer so I will only be able to roast it as I always do. I love turkey though so it's ok with me! I bought a 20 pounder and there is only 2 of us and my kittys! I love having it left over for the week! I never get tired of eating it! I have it for sandwiches and I can't wait to cook it! I'm looking forward to making a regular Thanksgiving dinner even though it is only for me and my boyfriend! He is in for a big treat! I'm making all the fixing that go with it! So we shall be eating this dinner for a long time!

LOL, cute story! I just bought my turkey today. It's a 20 pounder! We get a Butterball turkey every year, nothing beats Butterball. It's in my fridge right now, hopefully it will be thawed by Thursday :)
