I sometimes take time off of the computer and the other day when I did I soaked in a nice warm tub and I read a book I wonder how many off us do that or just read right before we go to bed? I like to read romance as well as mysterys.

hi kylanie! first of all, i don't have a tub. but yeah, i always take the time off. i need it because i am pregnant. but what i normally do is either prepare some snacks or just lie down to sleep. or even just lie down. close my eyes and to rest my entire body. including my mind. it helps me to keep back on track. but most of the time, when i do that, i would fall asleep. even if it is just posting, but contributing here in mylot is also hard work. we have to think, use our eyes, and type. and then sitting for a long time also gives us some aches. hehe so we should really take a break from time to time. maybe after 45 minutes to an hour and do some stretching. take care of your health and God bless you! :-)

Hi Kylanie, unfortunately I do not have a bath or tub; and dare not risk reading in a shower. But I do read in bed, before I sleep. I read crime, mystery and horror stories, and find it a very relaxing way to end the day!

I've been finding more time to read lately and that's good for me as I'm a writer and we should read what our contemporaries are saying so we can know what's going on in the craft. I most often read on the paratransit service or in the doctors office or in some other mode of conveyance. I very rarely read at my house unless I can't sleep and am reading to go to sleep.

I'm not a reader. I do take the time from the computer sometimes though. I like to soak in a bubble bath also.

I'd be afraid I'd get the book all wet if I soaked in the tub while reading. I have a tendency of moving around in the tub, soaking my entire body in the tub, so reading while in the tub just wouldn't work out. Unless the book was laminated, then I might. Lamination is a waste, when you can keep pages perfect just by taking good care. Now as for reading before bed, My fiance and I would do that from time to time. Now we're busy + waiting to find the copy of the book we want...

i don't think i can get down to read before going to bed . Instead, i like surfing on line, and do something what i want to do, sometims i stay up to immerse in my interests. But i go to sleep very early the day when i am very tired because of the busy work. SO, find tim? It depends.

i dont usually have a lot of time to read. i take transit to work and sometimes read while on there, but normally, i read for a bit before i go to bed. i dont normally read fiction (unless it is a classic) i am very much into history and country decorating.
