Today we got 2 so it hit me how close christmas is so I told my husband to get my box with christmas cards (I always buy them when the season is over and get wonderful cards for less money). I wrote 52 today and I still have about 35 to go which I am hoping to do next time my son is at school. Have you recived any yet? have you done yours? When do you buy them and send them?

That is cute I wanted to do the same but I want picture with santa and by the time we do them its going to be too late to send overseas and plus its much less work this way I will do it next year with the baby. My son (5) decided to be very excited about santa and christmas this year as well.

I have not gotten any Christmas cards yet. I normally don't start getting them until sometime in the beginning of December. I don't normally get mine out until the week before Christmas. I always put them off until the last minute it seems.

I cant live mine that far because many have to travel a long way and plus I have noticed that if I send them so late they never reach the person.

well, typically for me, i bought christmas cards after christmas last year and they only cost a dollar, so to that end, i will send out a few shortly. i usually start in early december to write them out. since a stamp here in canada is 54 cents a pop, i dont send out all that many, just a few!

I think canadian $ is higher then Australian I must check that I think here in Australia its 50c or 40c for national and $1 international not sure. Mind you I have about 40 international cards (I have cut way back but one year I wrote over 200 cards) what can I say my husband and me come from very large family (my mother has 5 brothers and sisters, his father has 7, his mother 8)

I haven't done mine yet. I need to get mine out early. After Dec 10 I won't have time. Having a c-section and a newborn. Hopefully people will understand if they get missed this year. I have some card. Guess that is something I could try and do today.

Yes it would be hard with a new born (ask me how I am in late April I will be in the same situation as you). You can avoid people geting upset by writhing few spare cards (without any names on it) and when you get a card from a person you did not send one to just write the address and send it of (I always do that)
