Hey mylotters ! guess what !!! Yesterday at 3 pm i got a new dog :) Its a female 11 WEEK old german sheapard. Shes addorible !!! She was 500 bucks and shes pure bread. Shes so cute i love her very much. Although its been kinda sad for the past 2 days cuz shes been with her 2 brothers for 11 weeks and now she misses them now that i got her. And i had two cats at home and they arent liking her very much yet :( since she misses her brothers, all she wants to do is play. But my cats are scared of her so shes sad :( I tried playing with her as much as i can but she just wants to be friends with my cats. but its probly gunna take about a month for them to accept her. You know how cats are.. think they own the place lol. So they arent too fond of a new animal in the house. anways wish her luck that the cats like her soon :p !!

Congratulations on the new dog. I love dogs. German Sheapards can be the most amazing dogs. Hopefully the cats will begin to like her because she is going to get very big, and it is important with Sheapards to raise them with agression. Unless they are training as guard dogs. My husband had a Sheapard growing up and while I don't think his dog and his cat were buds they seemed to exist fine together. She was a really sweet dog. The cat well, she was nice when she wanted to be. Hopefully they will get comfortable with the dog. If they are old it might be really difficult for them to adjust. Best of luck to all of you.

Kitties - These are my kitties curled up in a ball toghether.
My husband would be really jealous he wants a purebread German Shepard really bad but we don't have a big enough yard Germand Shepards need alot of room to run and exercise plus our house is not very big for a big dog like that. We do have two kitties here is a picture of my little kitties.

I have a German Shepherd too! He's 1 1/2 years old. They are absolutely wonderful dogs. I am sure you'll be very happy with her. Do you have any pictures of your puppy? Here is a photo of my dog when he was a puppy: http://www.picable.com/Nature/Dogs/Puppy-with-a-Stick.206455 And here is a photo of him now http://www.picable.com/Nature/Dogs/Dog-with-a-Pinecone.215759

I LOVE German Shepards!!! They are my favorite breed of dog. I have a german shepard but we got him at the pound so he isn't a pure breed. He actually looks exactly like a german shepard except his fur is short and sleek and he is a little smaller than most german shepards. I hope when your dog grows bigger she doesn't eat your cats because if I had cats I know that's what my dog would do!

Aww. . .german shepard puppies are adorable. One of my favorite breeds, though corgis and labs are my top favorites hehe. Cats can be really mean sometimes but I suppose that's normal since she is a dog. xD I wish your pup the best of luck making friends with your cats. x3

Congratulations on your new family member. It does take some time for animals to make the transition - several toys to occupy her time might help keep her mind off the cats.

Hey, good for you. You like animals so much and I think she will like you to be her master very soon. Cats are always conservative and don't tend to accept the new comer immediately. Several days before, my colleague also called me to adopt a very cute little tiny dog, but I can't coz I can't even have time to look after myself. It must be very funny to have animals in the house.
