$50 free, and Concert Tickets?

Well after a horrendous night and a lousy day after an accident last night I was shocked and very pleased when I opened myu mail today. I got 3 great perks from Mystic Lake Casino which I goi to often. I got a $50 cash bonus added to my memeber card to use at any slot machine. I got a buy one get one free buffet as well./ Plus I got 2 tickets to see Cirque Jungle Dreams. This is going to be on Sunday December 21st. A nice little Christmas Gift from the casino I reckon. I am hoping you've heard of Cirque Du Soleil. They are a hollywood/broadway type circus act that performs at LasVegas dailyas well as other cities worldwide. They are on the road now. I wanted to go see them byt titckets were too costly. Now I get to go for free and will have a lot of free money to play the slots as well. Even my wife is excited about it. Do you get comps? Have you seen or heard of Cirque Du Soleil? They perform all over the world as well. Here's their official site for you to check them out. An awesome and amazing group of performers.

Boy do I ever live on the wrong side of the track, all I ever get in my mail is bills. Good for you and have fun. In our country Cirque Du Soleil is not known.

They actually have shows in 2009 in Canada. Montreal Quebec and also in Toronto.
Check out the link I added here. If memory serves me correctly they are actually French Canadians originally.

Merry Christmas to you!!!!! Wow what a nice gift! I have heard of Cirque Du Soleil that will be an amazing show! And then you can eat...and play the slots. I am not trying to down grade your gift but do you suppose that casino's are hurting a bit too from the economy? Either way it's a very nice night out for you! congrats!

The best thing I like is their buffet.
The best of all casinos in Minnesota actually.
And I've eaten at a lot of the casinos buffets.
I would guess they are hurting as are all other businesses.

Cirque Du Soleil ROCK!!!
A few years back I was lucky enough to see the show not once, but for 2 years running. At the time I was working for a large Oil Company in London and had the most fantastic boss. He purchased, for all his staff, tickets for them and their partners, as christmas presents. It went down so well with the staff that he did it for 2 years running.
The show was fantastic and we all loved it. It really was special.
Enjoy the show when you go - it will be magical.

I saw them once maybe 24 years or so ago when they first started out actually.
They had a triple HUGE bigtop show set up at the Mall of America.
They were great and the best thing was there was a dinner sort of deal prior.
Not typical circus foods but like lasgna, shrimp,steak, etc. But they did have circus foods during the show. We loved it and tix wer I think $45 each then too. They are AWESOME.

If it has been 24 years since you have seen them, then I imagine you are going to be blow away by the 2008 show. I saw them in 2001/2 I think (maybe 2002/3 - can't remember now) - anyway, the special effects, etc were great and I imagine very different from what you saw 24 years back.
Prepare to be blown away!!!
I'm jealous and wish I could come with you to enjoy the show. There is no way that I will be able to see the show again anytime in the near future - 3 small kids seem to put a bit of a dampner on one's social life! Lol! (not complaining - :¬)).

Well done to you, its good to have a little bit of luck after last night, and I have heard of them but I have never been to amy cicus shows. Missed it when I was young and now they don't have these thing here any more.

Yes, it is very good.
Especially as my usual cash comp is just $15.
$50 is a great comp as I had not been there in a month or more as well.

Do they not still do the Cirque Du Soleil in London each Christmas? A few years back I saw the show 2 years running - it was awesome!!!
I realise you aren't in London, did they ever take it to Sussex?

I do have a free room but won't be staying overnight.
Just prefer not to with having to take care of dad.
But it is only about 10 miles from my daughter and probably 50 miles or less from me actually. It is called www.mysticlake.com
It is in the city of Shakopee Minnesota.

That should make your night you had last night and your day today seem a little brighter to get that. It sounds great. I have heard of Cirque du Soleil and have seen them on TV many times. If I am not mistaken I think they were here but we didn't go.

I a truely exicted and really looking forward to the show. Especially being just 4 days from Christmas as well. A nice welcomed relief from the mad rush of the Holiday season, spirits, and shopping etc.

wow.. you got all that in the mail.. how nice..
we've got a lot of festivities here in our country, but i dont know of any place that would give out cash bonus,free tickets etc. for any festivals..
i have heard of Cirque Du Soleil..
i was studying in Japan at that time, in hiroshima..
the school got some free admission tickets, and they picked 'foreign students' to enjoy the treat.. and it was great... well, i enjoyed it anyway.. very beautiful and graceful acrobatic acts,.. the music was just great..
i was really lucky i got to watch it that time, 'coz i dont think i can ever afford to go and watch them now, if they ever come to perform in my country..

I am taking my camera.
But some of the shows don't allow digital or video photography due to flashes distracting the performers etc. I hope to at lest sneak it in and take some without a flash if that is the case. No snow here on the ground dang it.

Lucky you! That is a lot of lovely gifts for you to look forward to. I like casinos but do not get to go very often, in fact I do not get to go out much at all one of the down sides of having kids and no sitter I guess!

It was especially nice to get this in the mail the day after
my car accident. Made that day a whole lot more bearable after
hours on end talking to various people dealing with getting
the car reparied etc. The show will be great as well I am sure.

Hey, thats great, a early Christmas present, enjoy it. Well I've heard of them before, in fact they are going to be in the city next to me in Dec. I really would like to go, a friend of mine and her husband are going, but I looked up the tickets, and they are expensive, like you said. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get them. Their ticket prices can be anywhere from $50 up to $300 in Vegas.
Love them especially since it's free.
Now I hope I get seats like the last freebies.
We were left center 4th row.

I am so glad you have now got a little good luck instead of bad. I just wrote it on your last discussion that I wished you good luck. You sure need cheering up and that show will be amazing. I have heard it is excellent and you will have a good night out. I checked out that link there too. I do not see a Belfast date for it, but not many shows come here for obivious reasons. I wish you more good luck also. Hope you get the car sorted out soon. It is a nuicense having none to drive for a while.

I' saw them way back in the late 80's as they started out actually.
They were great then but nowhere as great as now.
Those tickets back then cost me $45 each.
My wife loved it then.

I hope you two have such a wonderful time. I do pray you have a safe trip up there since I know the weather can be horrible.
I have not gotten such great comps from the casino I am a member of. I only got a 5 dollar comp and did not use it. Now with the price of gasoline down I may see if my daughter wants to go up there one of these days in January.
