You are just 7 posts short of attaining a crown or say star along side your username. Once a member completes 100 posts, a star start flashing along side his/her user ID name and if you take your cursor at the star, you will see how he/she has been rated out of 100 .....there would be marks like 67/100 or 88/100.....! The colour of the star changes after every ten marks. Blue is the highest star. Best of Luck!

Hello my dear dpk262006 Ji,
very nice for educating me on the subject, it means you have 89% rated with red STAR. But what is meaning, this denotes only how others feel about your writing, it may carry adverse feeling as well, if I do not like someone writings, I may rate -ve also. How to get rid off, in other wirds one has to be very very careful and also on eis not free to express oneself. Any expressions. May god bless you and have a great time.

The overall ratings depends upon many factors, I believe, no one knows here the exact method of calculation of ratings, only mylot people know. Ratings depends upon the positive and negative ratings also. I just cannot help if someone rates me negative, I just cannot see at all - how others rate me, I'll have to rely on what they say about me, meaning if they say - they rate me positive, I'll have to believe them. Stars/ratings are not very much important because it has nothing to do with our earnings here.
It is upto you, if you do not like any comment, you can rate it negative or may not rate at all.
Is Shalu been able sign in?

Well you get the stars when you reach 100 posts and the colors and numbers denote your reputation. I think that it is a pretty good system, although there is no clear tie between what you write and how your star rises and falls. I think that there are a few vindictive people that will rate people who disagree with their opinion low.

just like our friends says, when you reach your 100th post, the star and the reputation would start appearing beside your name... so whenever people rate your comments or discussions, you will gain a reputation thus determining what star are you in... there are 10 stars in mylot system so the higher you go, the higher you will get your reputation... enjoy posting at mylot...

Hi friend, Im new myself. From what I understand the colored star would appear the moment you hit a 100 posts. and the numbers would vary according to the ratings you get from the public. Not really sure. I guess we'll just find out when we get there. I still got a lot posting to do myself. Happy Mylotting. :)
