5 am! I think this is a bit much

I have 2 different friends who take the shopping going on today to a new level. One in Florida, one here where I am. Each began their shopping at 5 am. I was in bed nice and warm. I can't imagine getting up before 5 to be shopping. Have you done this? Know anyone who did this morning? How do you feel about it?

Some people think this is some show of ecnomical status by taking part in the rat race of Christmas shopping sprees.
What do they all have to show for it after CHristmas is over..You will be well rested and their pocket books will be more depleted.

I wasn't in bed I was on the computer like I am alot since their seem to be less interruptions late at night into the morning hours. It is 5:30 a.m. now. Well I have never been to a Black Friday shopping day but when my sister in law knocked on my door at 3:00 a.m. I gave her my $10 Walmart card to pick me up a Eureka 4-in-1-stick vacuum. But they were sold out at the store and online.

I did this one time on black Friday and will never do it again. I hate the crowds and the mad rush to get in and get something before it is sold out.
