Trouble accessing MyLot

I don't know what MyLot uses for software. My only experience previously was with a database program written in C++. In that program, if different files that were supposed to reflect the same information were corrupted or out of balance for whatever reason, then the entire account would be frozen. This was part of the financial chack/balance system of that particular software. I don't know if it's the same for MyLot, or if it's a different reason.

Sometimes I experience slowness too, especially if MyLot is updating their files. My friend has already tried accessing her account from other computers, including mine (and obviously I have no problem), but it doesn't work anywhere. Something in her account must have gotten messed up, I've been wondering if she may have been posting at the exact same time that her account was going thru the daily updating process. I'm have no idea what type of program MyLot is written in, but if there are multiple data files for each account, it's possible that posting a new discussion while an account is updating could cause an error of some sort.

She is still having the problem, unfortunately. The few times I've had to contact MyLot, it's taken several weeks for them to get back. It's too bad there isn't a tech support department. Now, club.live is another whole ballgame. I too have been having problems accessing that account. And contacting them is a joke. All you get are 'form' responses that have nothing to do with what you wrote in about. Most of their 'prizes' are a joke too, they mostly seem to be bargain basement stuff that a retailer somewhere couldn't sell. It's a pity too, because they have good word games and they used to have decent prizes. I would expect better from them, considering who owns them.

When she attempts to post or reply to discussions, she get an error message that says, "Unalbe to post content, please try again..thank you!" She has tried on more that one computer, so it's not anything wrong with her computer. It seems like something is messed up on the MyLot end. When I look at her account, it looks like all of her posts are there, and her rating is where is was...so it doesn't look like she did anything wrong. So strange! Was hoping that some one else had had a problem like this to know how to fix it.

Thanks so much for responding! Jane tried accessing her account on my computer, since I have not had any trouble. Unfortunately, she couldn't post anything using my computer either. It's very frustrating, especially since it's been 3 days so far!

I did finally write to admin about the problem. We even tried resetting her password, for lack of anything else to try. It was no go. I hope the admin corrects whatever the problem is quickly. If it happened to my, I'd be climbing the walls with MyLot withdrawl symptoms. Thanks for writing!

She tried sending a message through the 'contact us' link. She was not able to complete that either. The message she got was, "Unable to post at this time". So strange! Thanks for responding! She's missing all of her friends here, I hope they can fix it soon. Happy MyLotting!
