While planning a holiday would you love to go the hills or to the seaside?

I love the sea and the hills both. I have spent many a holiday in both places. The beauty of the Himalayas are a big lure and the beaches on the sea side have their own charm. i am in a dilemma where to spend my holidays this year. The Himalayas are snow covered at this time of the year and the scenic beauty is breath taking, but it will be really cold. The beaches would be nice and pleasant and one can spend time bathing surfing and sailing in the sea. What would you choose? The sea or the hills for a holdiay?

I love both the hills and seas. Both are romantic, however if given a choice i would prefer seas as i just get lost in the beachside hearing the sound of waves.I can spend hours at the same place there whereas hills are also enthralling but i guess i wont be able to sit for hours at a time there.

It depends on my mood. If I'm in the mood for swimming, snorkeling and etc, I'll definitely go for the sea. If I'm in the mood to relax and do nothing, I'll go the hillsides to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Now, I'm in the mood to go to the sea!!

i must admit that i too love the sea and the hills but im more terrified of water than the heights so i think i would rather chose the mountains and as i am a horse rider i would love to take my horse there and gallop around the hills... i have always been an ardent nature lover.... so i would prefer the hills and the country side more..... the birds chirping around me.... wind in my hair as i gallop my horse.... a nice little picnic basket filled with snacks for me and my horse !! wow what a holiday that would be... of course i would have a tent too ;)

I would choose to go into the hills. Water doesn't hold as much attraction as wood does. I would look forward to the cool tranquility of the woods and elevation so I can see far out is a pet peeve of mine.

I will choose a holiday near the sea hands down. I love pretty much everything about the ocean and miss it terribly. The waves, the smells, the breezes..... It just has this whole aura of freshness and life about it! I do have to admit though that the Himalayan option sounds pretty impressive as well. I have always wanted to see the Himalayas and the surrounding area. I guess it all comes down to whether you wish to explore, or just chill out! If you want to chill out and muck around a bit then I would go for the beach option.

Well I live close to the sea, so I can go there any time I want to. I would much rather spend Christmas in the mountains, possibly with some snow. A nice warm fire in the fireplace. It would almost remind me of Christmas back home in central Georgia...

Well mercuryman I live in SW Florida so the sea is readily available. I remember when I was a young girl, visiting the Pocono mountains in Pennsylvania. They were beautiful. I think I would pick the hills.

I would go for the sea. I'm a beach lover. Lots of beaches here in the Philippines you can try to have a relax and pleasant holiday for a change since Himalayas are in snow right now. Your going to love the beaches here, white sand and very kinda, hospitable Filipinos. We have hills and range as well, its up to you to decide.

I will go to seaside. I will lay my body on the sand. I will hear the voice of wave. I will see a woman with bikini. I like it.
