thats why i always post links with any news stuff because in the past at other places i would hear something on the news post about it and every one would question it and then i wouldnt be able to find it to show proof which made me feel like i was just making stuff up.. so now i try to not post anything i cant back up with some kind of link and do a search to try to make sure im not gonna be looking stupid later lol.. so many people just make up crap and lie to get attention that people dont want to trust anyones posts sometimes

The miracles that life has to offer. AND it is a good thing that her youngest daughter is not affected by the same condition she has. Amazing, isn't it? The way the body adapts to different conditions. For a person who has her medical condition, it is amazing that the weight of the baby in her stomach did not break her bones or something. Another miracle of life we all could marvel at.

i never thought about the possibility of her breaking bones due to the weight and pressure but your right!! that could have easily happened

Okay, you got me. I have to go check teh link out as soon as I post this. As it really sounds like a hoax to me. Unless the woman was really short or has no legs. I really don't see hwo this is possible.

it was listed on CNN's website (i pulled up the link but it was a video that wouldnt play.. dunno if its due to its old news or what) she suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta which causes her bones to break easy which some people cant even be touched barely so her small size might be because shes broken so many bones or it stunted her growth etc... if you do a search on her name a ton of sites come up and none say that its fraud and surely CNN would have made sure before they mentioned it that it was on the up and up..

We are talking here about woman who has birth disorder and she gave birth to baby that has a chance to grow with normal proportions. It is possible, because her tors is probably close to normal size and her legs are deformed.

i think they said the baby was like the length of her body/torso though and with any one that is that short they always tell them to not have kids in case the baby sits up too high because it can suffocate them by going under her ribs (i saw a documentary on another little person that had a baby and there was a lot more difference in height/length but they still said that the baby would be too long for her too and would push up and kill her but she made it also..

Wow! That poor lady! I had four children myself but I could not imagine having a baby that almost as big as I am. I would think that must have been agony during both the pregnancy and the delivery. I had never heard about this either - I would have thought that they would have put that on the news stations too. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I dont think it's much of a big deal. At first it sounds crazy, but when you find out that she's only 28 inches it doesnt sound so crazy.

I never have even thought about it before, but I guess there probably is a whole lot of risk of things when they have kids.
