I'm Weird And Here's Why

According to a lot of the people I've come in contact with, I'm weird. I never considered myself weird but small things have led them to believe that I'm just this odd person. I've been called weird because:
1.) I'm short.
2.) I don't talk a lot.
3.) I'm not loud.
4.) I didn't have any friends on MySpace.
5.) I don't like salted peanuts.
6.) I don't like football.
7.) I don't like pep rallies.
8.) I ate the cafeteria food.
9.) I brought my lunch. (There are a bunch of others like this)
10.) My voice changed during puberty.
11.) I used to have braids/corn rows.
12.) I got a hair cut.
13.) I don't smoke or drink.
14.)I made good grades.
16.) I said that a teacher who everyone else hated was nice.
17.) I didn't like a teacher that everyone else thought was a good teacher.
18.) I'm germaphobic.
19.) I don't like expensive clothes.
There's a bunch more, but I can't think of them all. Some of these may seem funny, but people have actually been rude to me and tried to avoid me because of the reasons I've listed. So has anyone called you weird, and for what reason did they say you were weird?

I like people that think a little outside of the box. Everyone is different for a reason. I feel if everyone I come in contact with is the same then to me they are boring. I have learned the differeences in people is what makes things fun in life. I see you started this discussion over a month ago but to me it was a something I felt I wanted to respond too. I am not sure if you are suppose to do that but hey I did so I hope you see this and feel what it is that I am trying to say. Happy mylotting and keep your head up!

When I was a teenager the Preppy and Jock types called my friends and me weird because we were hippies. My truly hippie friends called me weird because I was also a bit of a redneck. Since I was 16 years old I have never worn matching earrings..and I'm 53 now so imagine how that comes across to some folks now. 
I've always been tough for a girl so some of the girls in school thought that was weird. I'm a college educated computer geek married to a biker...who is also a Vietnam vet with issues. Some folks don't understand that either but we get along great.
You're an individual and you're strong enough to express your individuality openly. That's now weirdness...that's being true to yourself. Don't worry about what other people think about you. The only thing you should care about is what YOU think about you.

Wow it sounds to me like we have a lot in common lol besides the voice change and corn rows lol So as far as being weird no way! And who cares anyway being normal is so much worse than being weird. It's best to think outside the box thats when good things happen, No one ever did anything worth remembering by being normal.

These days when peopel say weird they mean not so normal but hn what is normal? who knows. They say that the simpsons from Springfield are a disfunctional family so whats a functional family.
Dear shortyakbar, I dont think that you should worry about what other people say or think about you. What matters is what you think about yourself.
Also in a way everyone is weird. People call me weird because I wear one of thr thickest glasses.

You don't sound weird to me, but I guess different people see things differently. Ok, people have called me weird because:
1) I have long nails.
2)I always wear some make up to school. (Even if just some eyeliner and gloss)
3)I have a lot of books and like to read.
4) Don't have a myspace.
5) I like David Bowie music.
6) Still a Corey Haim fan.
7) I dress my dogs.
8) When I eat food I have to eat one food until it's done than the other. Like say I have rice, potatoes and meat. I eat all the potatoes, all the rice, and then all the meat. I don't why, I just have to do it like that or it makes me sick to look at. I also need a seperate bowl or dish for my salad.
9) When I eat something round (donuts, hamburges, crossants, ect), I have to rip into small piece and then eat the pieces. People say I eat like a guniea pig.
That's why people have called me weird, but I'm sure there's more I forgot or don't know about.

My mom gets on to me about eating my food separate all the time. I don't know why, it's just how I eat. There's only certain things I can eat together.

see the thing is that ppl r in habit of following others u may seem to be weird to a group or 1 person nd others will start following them as they are use to there following habit.,.,..
alwaz apply thumb rule,,,,,, if urself feel that u r weird say for 1% only that means u r weird.,..,.,nd if u dnt feel so u r not.
ppl say to me that i have attitude problem.,..,.,..,i reply.,..,.that i dnt hv any attitude problem it u who have perception problem.
Dnt care wat ppl say do ur work..,.,and let them they do there work of saying u weird!!
