If you cook all the time then you can cook a large dinner. just cook what you are familiar with but cook more. You can get all kind of information on the internet to help. You could also get his aunt to advise you. I'm sure she would be flattered. When my family had a big dinner every one would pitch in and bring something to round out the meal. My grandmother would provide the meat and potatoes and every one else would bring something. Make a list of what you think is needed and ask those coming to chose a dish and bring it. Ask some one to bring a green salad and someone else to bring a fruit salad and so on. Just explain that this is your first time and could they help. Most people would be willing to help. Your fiance will like what ever you fix since you already cook for him. You could also ask him what he thinks you should fix.

I think that they should help because that still leaves you with the cleanup. We all usually helped when my grandmother was still alive. I still do no mater where I have Christmas dinner unless the hostis really doesn't want help.

don't be scared sweetie, it is very easy to take care of.arethere going to be a lot of people? if so, this is what you do . you get together with everyone and tell them you are having a potluck dinner for christmas. it will be fun and less expensive. you won't be pulling your hair out or starting to cook the night before. tell everyone to bring their favorite dish and then everyone will know there will be at least one thing that they will like. we have done this before in my family and it works well. most people are happy to do it.also explain how hard this will be for you to do to your fiance,if he is a loving man, he will understand and think you are brilliant for thinking of it. if not, call him a jerk and do it anyway. we women have to make those men to know their place.

I would suggest cooking a ham, turkey or a whole chicken. I would try to cook a variety of things to make sure to cook things for people to have a choice from.

Call and ask the family members what their favorite dishes are, and make a few in your budget, if your soon to be husband wants you to cook dinner for so many people, he can watch the baby and help as well! only fair, after all he will be eating it too!

Well if you cook all the time it really shouldn't be a problem. Have a turkey or a ham. Cook some potatoes, a veggie, a desert. It really isn't that hard you just cook more things at one time.

well,if you don't know what to cook, ask your fiance what his favorite food, and i know, you know his favorite food and buy a recipe for it, so you have a guide how to cook or else ask people who know how to cook or search into your web browser, you can what ever in internet..i know you can do it...happy advance merry chirstmass to you and you family...god bless...
