Do you greet your dogs Morning and say good night to them?

I always have this habit, when I wake up in the morning and I walk downstairs, I'll say "Morning" to my lovely Labby, my dog. She always looks at me, with an innocent look. I always find it so cute. Then, before I go to bed, I'll also say good night to her. She's just like part of my family, like my little kid.

My dogs are always around me all night long. My younger dog is always up when I am up, so is my cat. My oldest dog likes to sleep much longer and she is not morning person, but she likes to be pet all day long. At night they are in the same room with me...

It's so nice that your dogs can sleep with you. But I can't let my dog come into the house, as she's hyperactive, and she'll mess up everything. We used to let her stay in the house, but she ended up destroying our stuffs. Also, she's quite big sized, a Labrador, hence my house is too small for her to run around.

it must be warm over there, your dog would be frozen in Chicago right now....

Yeah, I'm staying in tropical country, it's always hot every day. If it's cold outside, then I'll definitely let her come into the house, I can't see her shivering...

Yes I always do. I can't explain the feeling but it brightens my day a lot when I see and greet her in the morning.I also cuddle and say goodnight to her before I go to sleep... It's funny but I treat my dog as my own kid...

You are not the only one my friend. I talk to my pets all the time. I tell them hello, good night, where I am going and what I have to do.

I always say good morning and goodnight to our dogs, which i am sure they understand. I especially love it at night time, all i need to say is 'bedtime!' and all 3 of my dogs automatically plod over to their beds, which is my cue to say goodnight :)

Dear friend, Very rarely and as you do I would start to greet them now, I hope they too need the dignity to be greeted. More over they are loyal and loving. I wish if these animals could talk.

Although they do not speak, when they look at you, you feel like you know what they mean. Although they do not understand us, they like us to talk to them too. I think we both can feel the love between humans and dogs.

Yeah, I always talk to my dog too. Sometimes, when I feel unhappy, I go and talk to her, and she makes me feel happy. It's just like talking to kids, coz they are so cute, and you just will forget about your unhappiness.

I sometimes say good morning to the dog and to the cat. I tend to speak more to the dog though because I t hink that he understands me a bit more. The cat usually starts his day meowning at the top of his lungs anyway. That is his morning greeting. i want food.

Yes, i always say to my dog good morning and good night..also tell him i love him! my dog sleeps with me and cuddles too. so hes right there by me, kind of hard not to say it lol in the morning he is really cute. he wakes up and gets all cuddled up to me and will lay his head on my chest and just stare at me till i say ok, lets get up lol or i go to move and he gets all excited. he doesn't really do anything when i say good night though.. he'll just look at me and then go back to sleep since hes always already in bed and sleeping before i am.

I always say good moring to my dogs, i leave them out to do there duties, and they come in and i give them a milk bone, for being so good, they actually come in a sit and wait for the bone. Then at night i say ok guys time to go to sleep, as if they knew they find there spot and lay down.
