do you enjoy listening to loud music or irritated or despair over its thumping soundrack blasting?did you know that listening to loud music are one of the bad things that is good for you? i do. i feel like the greater the music's intensity the more pleasure it brings and the more i appreaciate the music itself. But, though its one of the bad thats good for you.there should be a limit and length of time to be considered, according to the researchers or else loss of hearing may result. so, how do you listen to your music?

When we are driving and such, our music is not too loud, but it is not a light background hum either like how some people enjoy to listen while cruising. The music on my stereo plays a little louder in the room that it is in than it is easier to have a conversation in. This makes it where it is possible to hear the music in other rooms, like in the office I am in now.

I usually listen to my music at a reasonable volume, but there are times when I will play it louder than usual. This is when I am in the car alone and a particular song that I like comes on the radio. I also sometimes play my music at home loud when I am moving around the house doing different things and want to be able to hear it all over the house. Since I live alone and the next apartment isn't that close, I don't think I bother anyone, and no one has ever complained about my music being too loud, so I think I am okay with it.

I like to listen to music loud when i am in the car on the way to work in the early hours of the morning..however when I mean loud it is not the thumping so hard your car is vibrating kind of loud. To me anytime I see or hear these kind of cars it makes me laugh at how ridiculous they are...kind of like overcompensation for something...you know what they say about guys with big trucks overcompensating for soemthing. I guess they think it looks cool, even though they may have no idea their breaks are going bad, etc. So i keep mine at a decently loud level while driving, went through too many car problems you see.

I never listen to loud music. I enjoy music because it is soft and mellow. I like music that keeps my mood calm and at peace. Loud music is bad for the ears. I get irritated with loud music. I even tell the driver of a bus or a jeepney to lower the volume of the sound if it is too loud. Very loud music is noise to me and not music at all. it gets to my nerves whenever I hear very loud music.

When I am angry, really angry, or if I am extremely excited, then I will listen to loud music. When I was on my way home today from having to put up with my boyfriend's father, I blared my My Chemical Romance album, I was just so angry. I am like The Incredible Hulk when I am angry, you will not like me when I am angry.

I don't mind loud music and as a musician, often play quite loudly, but listening depends on my mood. Sometimes if it is too loud, I feel irritated by it, and other times not.. :-) Derek

Dear friend, I do mostly like to hear music in normal sound and while in parties and other functions I do like to hear it loud. At home I do hear in normal sound and also take care not to disturb others with the enjoyment of my music voice.

Nope, loud music gives me a headache. I also like to talk to other people. so having music blaring in the background is a big distraction. I think when I listen to my ipod, the volume's a bit loud though. I just don't notice it because there's other noise in the background like the TV and music. Oh well.

Although I like many genres of music, I prefer to listen to music at a reasonable tone. For one thing, if a person listens to real loud music constantly, he will eventually lose his hearing. Not only that but I know people who listen to real loud music both in their home as well as in their car, and the neighbors called the police on them. They received hefty fines for disturbing the peace with their loud music, and for infringing upon the rights of others who wanted to preserve their hearing.

I only like it loud whenever I'm at a disco dancing or something. Loud music gives me a headache. I prefer soft music or love songs so there no need to play it loud. And you're right about loud music having effect on your health. It's bad for the ears. Happy Mylotting :)

first of all let me tell you that i do not prefer to listen to heavy metal or rock.... i like soft rock only particular singers, like linkin park and avril lavigne.... but not heavy metal at all ... but i do like loud music.... only when there is hip hop playing..... im totally into hip hop music...and i love listening to my favourite sound tracks really loud either when i am dancing or when i am driving..... mostly when i am dancing though cos i do not want to hear anything other than the music when i am dancing...i kind of go into a trance there..... i may want to listen to loud music when im drunk but that i guess my friends know better than me cos i dont remember myself the next day :P but mostly i keep the volume a little on the low side or sometimes i just come up with a bad head ache if the speakers arent al that good...and my car particularly doesnt have that good a system....

In my country loud music is apart of our culture. We play music on the street side mostly on the weekends. The louder your sound system plays the more hype you get and the more you get to play. So i really get use to hearing loud music its just apart of me i love it.

It all depends on what kind of music I'm listening to at the moment. If it's Slipknot or Avenged Sevenfold, it has to be cranked up. If it's country, along the lines of Garth Brooks or George Strait, I listen to it at a reasonable level. I just appreciate the hard rock music and the softer type music in different ways.

I do not listen to my music at a very loud volume. There are a few reasons for this. For one, it hurts my ears if I listen to the music too loud. Most of the time, I will also get a headache if the music is too loud. I think the primary reason that I do not listen to loud music is because of a video that I was shown in school. I video demonstrated the effect of loud music on the ability to hear. It showed the deterioration of hearing, and I must say that I was a bit scared that if I listened to loud music, my hearing would end up that way one day.
