What one gift did you get that you did not expect to get for Christmas? I pretty much knew everything that I was getting because my husband can not keep a secret. But the one thing i did not know that I was getting and I got was a video camera. I have wanted one for a long time but I did not even ask for one this year because I knew we couldnt afford it. I dont know how he did it but my husband got me one and let me open it on Christmas eve so that I could record the kids opening their gifts on Christmas morning.

I got a digital photo frame...loaded with music and pictures of all of my family!! I was so surprised and excited I cried and cried and watched it for over an hour until my daughter told me to stop watching it! I love my family so much that now I can have it running and watch pictures of my kids and grandkids anytime I want without having to flip through my scrapbooks or photo files on the computer....and it's set to celtic music....it's so beautiful!

My Mom sent Money to help out and I didn't know she was going to do that. That was a wonderful gift you got. How sweet of your hubby.

I got 80 dollars from one of my aunts. There are so many people on my dad's side of the family that we ceased to give Christmas gifts several years ago. We are close to 200 with the aunts, uncles, and cousins (my dad is the 15th of 16 children). But one of my aunts handed me a card to open later when I left. When I opened it there was 80 dollars inside.

We haven't done Christmas yet. We usually put it off until after the first of the year. But my boy friend came down Christmas day with a gift bag and inside was a new Starbucks travel mug (Christmas themed of course) and a bag of my favorite dark chocolate truffles. Also there was a gift card to Starbucks for when I start classes next month. It was a total surprise!!!
Wow, a video camera...he had to be bursting to keep that secret!
