Wow! Bingo is getting rough

I just had my first unpleasant experience on Pogo. I was working my bingo badge and was in a room with two other people. One of them requests that we wait until all balls are called. No problem, that makes sense.
There is one ball left to be called when the same person that made the request calls bingo. I didn't say anything at the time but I thought it was pretty shady. That or I had a glitch and wasn't able to get the last ball.
A few more people came in as the next game started. One of them asked if we were waiting for all the balls to be called. The other person who was in the room for the first game said they thought so but needed 16 and didn't get it. Now I know it wasn't a glitch and said same here.
Well, someone else called bingo before all the balls were called and that sent the original person who made the request off on a rant. They went on about how people come in and are spoilsports because they don't wait. And how great it was because they were all alone before people started coming into the room. As if they own it...
I couldn't keep quiet anymore. I told them they did the same thing, which I believe is why we're confused about what's going on. The other person agreed. The "owner" of the room asked what I was talking about and I said calling bingo before all balls were called. They denied it and started spamming chat with NO NO NO. They said they have never ever done that. They called bingo as the last ball was being drawn, not before.
If that were the case, all of us would have called bingo, not just them, as I pointed out. It got to the point where they said get out. Go find another room. It was crazy! This person believes they did nothing wrong. The only reason I dropped the subject is because I got my badge and wished the other two people in the room good luck before I left.
Now I remember why I don't pay a lot of attention to chat! Usually I would have kept quiet but I'm real emotional right now. I wasn't about to be bullied but I was calm the entire time.
Anyone else have an experience like this?
BTW...sorry I did not post the challenges for next week. I had a rough Christmas Eve and I'm just now starting on my badges. I hope everyone had a good holiday and will be able to finish their badges this week.

I haven't had that happen to me before. I got my bingo badge and no one asked to wait for all of the balls to be called first. I would have waited if they had asked it would not have been a problem. What a very dishonest person to say lets wait and then call bingo before all the balls are out. That happens though.

I agree that the nice people definitely outweigh the bad. I haven't had a whole lot of problems either thank goodness and I have been playing on Pogo for quite a few years!!

Everytime there is a bingo challenge I'm alwyas in a room that people go off if you don't play their way, some are just playing Bingo and not for the badge.Playing bingo can be pretty nasty!

I was in a Bingo room awhile back and that sort of thing happened. I think waiting until all balls is called kind of ruins the purpose of the game being a game. It's just a silly online game that's really not a big deal. Those people really have nothing better to do with their time I don't think and they hate that people can't listen to them and they get all frustrated.
The bingo button is placed there for a reason. It's put there because it's for people to use as soon as they get bingo. If they don't like it maybe they should find another room to play in.

I agree, though part of me could understand why they wanted to wait - more tokens and it's faster to get the badge. But I also understand if someone comes in and they want to grab that bingo. We all have other things are going on and may not have time to wait around for each game to finish. Also, I know not everyone has the chat open. People can't expect everyone to follow along when not everyone sees the request.
When I was looking for a personal to play this week, I decided I'd wait on bingo and do that later. LOL

i've had a couple experiences like that. I don't pay attention much to chat either now except to watch the idiots fight back and forth over stuff like that. There are some in Everyone wins bingo that will complain about people who get the black outs. They say they are being selfish using the wilds for themselves instead of trying to pass more on. I think people should be able to play however they want. I think it is ridiculous that player went off like that since they screwed up the agreement in the first place. I remember when there was a team word game I used to play. I think it was word riot. I thought it was a pogo game but i'm not sure if it was. anyways, you play as teams making words or something like that, its been a long time. well i was new and wasn't doing so good. they were jumping on me about it and then they kicked me off for no reason. I tend to play with the bots, it's just easier.

I have had similar problems happen in bingo rooms and I just tell myself that some people are rude and just "that way". I'm trying really hard not to let things that I can't control bother or get to me anymore! Why give someone else the satisfaction?

Some people really go nuts when it comes to the games. One thing I find irritating is how the powers that be cater to the complainers. The ones that refuse to use their chat filters then report people for their language.

That happens a lot in Fortune bingo on Pogo, and that's why I never actually wait for everyone to get bingo. First of all, you're not supposed to in that game. If you want to "share" bingo, go to a different bingo game like Everyone Wins Bingo or Bingo Luau. Also, if you do start sharing, only 3 people can claim bingo, so if 4 happen to get bingo, someone is out of luck. All in all it just causes a lot of hurt feelings which could be avoided if everyone just calls their own bingo.

Not sure which one you were working on, but yesterday I finished the Everybody Wins Bingo badge, where you have to blackout 3 cards in an hour. Took me several tries, but I did make it. What I did was go into a room with only about 10-15 people, increasing my chances of getting the wild cones. Since there is a max of 5 at a time, when I started getting close (like 7 numbers) I'd use a couple wilds so I could get more of them to fill the card. I ended up getting the three full cards with time to spare.

I had the same thing happen to me, the only difference was that instead of waiting until the second last number was called, they called bingo wayyyyy before that.. after i already had bingo on two cards, and was patiently waiting for them to get bingo.. Its crazy how rude people can be
